I very much agree the vast majority of province women are nice and genuine, just want a decent husband and life. All too often an expat will pick up the hottest 19 year old in the girly bar and complain loudly how all Filipinas are scammers. The province girls in my extended family are all very capable and hard working. Some interested in meeting a foreigner, some not.

Hi Brian. You made some interesting points about why there are so many single mothers in the Philippines. I always wondered why this was the case. I thought it had something to do with their religion being against contraception. In the west there seems to be less emphasis on having kids now. I’m wondering with the men in the Philippines not taking responsibility could it also be due to there’s no child support laws like Australia for example.
@@will_274 oh there is child support laws here, 100%. They still have an obligation to support the child, just not the Filipina. They just don't want responsibility I think. Thanks for watching 🦘✌️
I find it interesting that Mae said that she had no sex education in school, when I have heard other Filipinas say just the opposite. Regardless, it appears that there is a huge parental failure in PH when no one [parents] wants to educate anyone on sex matters. But, once again, I have seen other interviews where the Filipina indicates that she/they know about sex but choose not to use any birth control with others indicating that birth control is not expensive and is readily available. When asked why they don't use birth control, they always have some excuse or another, but nothing rational or real. They typically say, "I heard this or that" about using the pill, but when pressed to provide any evidence, of course, there was none presented, with the Filipina remaining stalwart in her opinion and not swayed by fact, at all. Problems exist there and I am not going to explore the reasons why...and I am sympathetic and empathetic to them all, but when the problems stare them right in their faces and they choose to do nothing to correct the problems, well then....I am a loss for words! In addition to this great problem is the TAMPO problem that no one seriously addresses within any family or anywhere else, as near as I can tell. Sure, some talk about it but serious professional help is needed by all of those folks that fall into the influence of TAMPO trantrums. Once again, the family is never going to be any help with this, but the school system could influence the growing minds that will fall prey to the TAMPO. Yes, Mae is undoubtedly a wonderful person with many skills and much knowledge and beautiful, too..to be respected for all of this, but she is failing to accept her personal responsibility on sex/birth control as well as general temperament [Tampo, if she falls prey to this]. I do wish her well and all others.
@@danleep1185 I can tell you that here where we are there is definitely no sex education in schools. The education system here is lacking in so many areas it's sad really. And as far as the pill being expensive, it's relative to how much you earn and salaries here are so varied from island to island so if the girl has a good full time job I suppose it's not beyond her means to acquire. But as for poor girls in the province, food is more important of course. Thanks for watching brother 🦘✌️
