I absolutely LOVE the idea of a TT GT3 RS but why not get a GT2 RS and upgrade it? Wouldn't a GT2 RS with turbos, exhaust, E85 and tune make more power than a GT3 RS? Wouldn't a GT2 RS with those upgrades make close to 900whp? Obviously the GT3 motor will rev higher but do you think it will reliably make upgraded GT2 RS numbers without going through the motor and valve train to build it?
Your right but this is a completely different car and a completely different build. A 2rs is not revving to 9000 making 800wheel

Why would you want to turbo a GT3? I have one and love the NA.. if I wanted a turbo I would buy a turbo.. I understand the need for more power, but they build a car for that.. GREAT job on this build and love the explanation!! This channel is great.. just subscribed

It’s amazing bro. Seriously I didn’t know what to expect nor did I have any clue as for what it takes to build a custom TT kit. It’s very complex and takes time but we’ll worth it. I was absolutely blown away not only by the build, but the performance as well. It’s fast as heck, fun, and has so much emotion it’s hard to even explain. Emotion being that sound, the thrill, the intensity that gives the drive smiles per mile. I heart it very much

Why not get the 2RS if you are going through all the trouble. I can’t imagine the gintani conversion is cheap plus it will not be as reliable as factory designed turbos with that engine.

Just wondering did mondi have troubles with his gt3 rs when he twin turbo’d it ?
He is a moron that cannot drive car let alone take proper care of one. He ran the car low on oil, snapped a pickup chain and shot a shim out. That’s not even close to being blown. That’s user error and still very viable engine. Although they fixed it for him alright, gave him a new stock engine and said bye bye. Look at his recent video of him driving a 992, it show exactly why he has zero business owning these kinds of cars.
I was wondering why someone would turbo the 3RS instead of buying a 2RS, but it seems to have more character than the 2RS, still sounds sweet.
Pay for what you get, everything always looks so neat and OE with these lads.

1. I already had it.
2. It revs to 9k
3. It has a larger engine with a 4.0 vs 3.8

how much of a compression drop ?
So youve gone from a beautiful sounding race car derived reliable engine that you can smash around a track for hours without any cooling or reliability issues with a perfect torque curve to a much more torquey (not ideal for a track car), less reliable (as is any turbo kit for any car) and hotter setup. I have to say it does still sound mega though, not as good as a straight piped gt3 rs but definitely better than a gt2rs. Would have made more sense to buy a gt2 which is designed for this power as I understand the engine is unopened, and you wouldnt destroy your warranty on an all ready 300k car.
