I started smoking when i was 22. It was around the same time I started hanging out in bars more and drinking heavily you know how you do in your 20s, but one day I decided I had enough. I was around 32 and just didn't like it anymore. I spilled my ashtray on the carpet for the last time. I was totally addicted physically but mentally I was done. I just stopped going to the store where I bought cigarettes. It was that easy! When I went out with my friends who smoked, I went outside with them and watched them smoke but I had already decided I was done and that's that. Physically I went through some rough withdrawal, i was moody and angry, my appetite was severely affected, I had headaches and muscle cramps.. My body was saying FEED ME THE DRUG but I got through it. I think that addiction is a choice, and unless you're mentally disabled, you have the ability to stop. People make excuses.. I was abused, I'm an addict, its genetic, I don't know how to quit, etc... But at the end of the day it's up to you. And this goes for everything from gambling to sex to alcohol.. You have to make positive life choices if you want to make positive life choices. If you want to make negative life choices you're going to make negative life choices. It might sound harsh but coddling people and making excuses for them has led to the highest rate of addiction this country has ever seen. I've seen too many people die from drug overdoses. I've been to too many funerals of friends who I still to this day, some of them a decade or more later, genuinely miss having in my life. But I watched them make negative choice after negative choice, and make excuse after excuse for those negative choices right up until they were dead. And excuses just aren't enough.
Do you charge for disposal of leaves
My favorite part of these videos is how you portray yourself as an average joe. If I can do it, you can too. Very uplifting.
I came here for leaf asmr and left creating a whole business plan for a youtube channel i have been LAGGING on for years. Something clicked today, thank you for the motivation and stories, was not expecting that while i watched. It helps. 🙏🏾
That is AWESOME!!! I hope that you find massive success with it!. If you ever want any help along the way with tips or whatever it might be just reach out to me on Facebook or instagram and I will give you all the help I can. I will also let know know if I dont know the answer to a question and feed you full of b.s.
I’m a retired teacher. I really enjoy your videos. In the 1970s when computers first came out, there was a screen saver called The Mower Man. I thought it was silly that people watched it because they thought it was relaxing. Well, here I am. I’m hooked. But you are a lot cuter than that mower man. I love both your channels, and your dad’s as well.
I loved this video especially with Rachel. I heard you talk about your family and I heard you say “ I don’t want to toot my own horn....” You are a self made man that went out and provides for his wife and allows her to be a stay at home momma and you both provide an awesome life for your baby girl. Your a Juggernaut my brother... toot your damn horn and be proud. TOOT freaking TOOT I’m proud of you.
Man it's awesome to watch this small business thrive. It makes me happy to see/hear you happy. This is the American dream, and I'm proud to have you as a neighbor, for lack of a better term.
Just wanted to say thanks for the leaf cleanup video tips. I'm not a lawn care company I just enjoy doing yard work. Volunteered to help an elderly neighbor cleanup her yard that had a handful of big oaks. I dont have the best top of the line equipment but used my Stihl BR430 to blow the leaves away from the house and property and used my 22" Toro Recycler to side discharge the massive pile and cut it down. Then used the mower with bagger to suck it all up and put it into those big green landscape barrels. Hauled about 10 of those barrels full to the dump for her. It was time consuming but I needed the workout and it was all about getting te bulk of her yard cleaned up. Next week I'll go back over again and polish it up as some trees were still falling.
I work a 9-530 desk job for the past 12 years and probably will until I retire. If I could back in time and tell the 18 year old me to skip college and start my old landscape business I would. Although the competition out here in Massachusetts greater Boston area seems tough.
The most impressive part of all of that is that you’re working a full time job and are cleaning up your elderly neighbor’s yard from the goodness of your heart. 💕
You are a very humble person. I think it's because you have seen the bad and the ugly. You have struggled. I understand when you said how blessed you are to be from the states. A lot of Americans don't understand how blessed they are to be from a country of opportunity. A lot of people from other countries don't have that opportunity to be able to come out of the struggle.
Hey, my respect for being authentic to the both of you.
Fighting against wind always makes leaf cleanups a pain sometimes unless your working with the wind lol. I remember my first leaf cleanup (cuz it was last December lol) it was a nightmare as well and I made no money from it when I broke stuff to. Lesson learned the hard way lol
I love your leaf removal videos! We continue to be more efficient with cleanups. Amazing how you tackle each yard differently depending on the situation at the time of service while knowing the customer expectations and budget. A two man crew is definitely a time saver, especially when the wind is blowing!
Hey Buddy its Rocco from R &J landscaping here in Connecticut I really enjoy your videos there appreciated you are honest with no bullshit right to the point I really like that. Keep up the great work and videos thanks your friend Rocco from Connecticut.
I’ve been cleaning up the leaves at my house and I’m using a stihl handheld blower a rake and putting them in a wheel barrow and putting them in the woods
35 year smoker, been quit for 11 years!!! Love this channel. Im just a homeowner who likes yardwork. Lolz
Thank you Clark. its been almost 3 years for me. I occasionally have a nice cigar from the smoke shop... i think if it like treating myself to a steak
Love how you addressed addictions, some people are so dogmatic about what they say to people. You need to love them through their problems and be supportive and let GOD tell you what to say and do. I have seen too many people shamed and possibly more of like, ( you tell me to do or don’t do ) that
It makes them more defiant.
I love you talking. It shows me so much I can change. I started my lawn care a month ago. Did my first leaf cleanup today. Charged 60$ for a two man crew. We’re in the middle and I’m like dude. I undercharged so badly. We were there for about 4 hours.
I have done that so many times. its all part of the learning curve.
keep up that hustle brother!
@@LawnCareJuggernaut thank you and will do. Keep up the videos man I love them.
I'm proud of you. I was down on my luck once .I worked in Cantalopes watermelons cotton.and I washed waxed cars I even did the work you do. Life is hard we do what we can. I enjoyed everything I worked in . Now I'm not able to even mowe my Owen yard and I miss working hard.
I thought for sure you were gonna say you let your little girl paint your nails blue. I can tell you would have let her if she wanted to. My dad was that same guy would do anything for his little girl. Your family sounds so sweet. Keep doing what u do and talk as much as u want. Lol
I dont have a tip for moving piles of leaves. While using the rake, I turn it upside down and use it like a snow shovel.
Appreciate you sharing your testimony. For me, it began in 2007, started at 21, senior year of undergrad, slowly then ramped up quick. black & milds up to 3 packs a day (15 total) I hid it from my family, from my girlfriend now wife, hid it from my pastor/church...didn't end until the week before my first son was born (2015). Then went to vaping...the way it completely stopped...I ran out of liquid for my vape, and I got tired of buying another bottle of liquid. It all finally ended in July/August 2019.
Thats whats up brother CONGRATULATIONS MAN!
good for you. quitting smokkng is always best.
use to smoke from about 12 years of age until 27. only smoked about a pack a week. mainly while drinking which also quit.
alochol always made me throw up. one day after my baptism, was in the public bathroom throwing up. it was like a voice spoke to me and asked, "why are you doing this to yourself don't you know I love you?" yes. sounds crazy, but can tell you at that moment i knew in my heart that Jesus did die for me because He loved me. quite smoking and drinking tgat very moment and have not gone back almost 80 now.
you are so right about who decides what we do to ourselves.
thank you
God bless
I'm a plumber I just like your videos so I can learn what tips and tricks works. Even if you dont do this work you can appreciate the struggle.
Never worked a day teaching aviation maintenance to perspective aviation mechanics and pilots and having lawn work on the side. Like the name Rachel. Very glad to see you take care to protect your lungs, a very great investment in your future and your families.
Screw those kind of people!!! Y’all are an Amazing Couple!!! And y’all have an Awesome Lawn Care!!!💯👍🏻❤️
I like watching you guys over these other big channels and you know who I'm talking about , lol , u started like me ... Our parents didn't buy us a fleet of trucks and new top of the line equipment to get started .... I started with renting a Home Depot truck to do jobs on my own , I worked my way up and now have 3 trucks , two 16ft trailers , good equipment and two employees ...... I root for guys like us , hard work , dedication, sacrifice and perseverance..... Have a great day guys , let's get this leaf money !!!!!
I like that you work with your employee not against him or, you guys work together nobody just does one thing. Like the grunt work
I love your work ethic and values. I felt the same way about driving semi, but I had to give it up because of health reasons. I miss it alot. I live in Central MO. on the plant farm property I inherited when my folks passed. I am not good with plants and can't do yard work because of health issues, but your videos make me think of them. Thank you.
I respect this video. I operate a window cleaning company I do exterior services housewashng window cleaning, dryer vent cleaning, and spring and fall leaf removal. Alot of man hours for this.
I’m 14 running my own lawn care I went from a junk mower that my neighbor gave me I put time into that mower and I also had a weed eater that wouldn’t start once in a while and I worked with that stuff to make money and first thing I did when I got that money is went out and bought a new mower because my grandpa told me “you got to spend money to make money “ and I took them words and locked them In my brain I kept working and keep waking up early preparing my mower and weed eater for the day and I usually have 3-5 lawns to do and I get paid $20-$40 dollars so now that I’m hearing your problems and your progress that motivates me to work hard to get my hands dirty and not quite even though I hit my goals so thank you.
I don’t own a business…I’m just a lawn nerd…IF I did start a business, maybe that’s what I’d call it. I absolutely enjoy the massive transformation that can happen with lawn mowing, trimming, edging, leaf and debris cleanup…all of this taught to me by my mother. I am a retired teacher and love to clean my yard…so much so that when I mow I also mow my neighbors on both sides! Fought breast cancer for the last year…chemo…double mastectomy and reconstruction. My question for my surgeons and oncologist was always, “When can I mow again?” They thought I was nuts!!! 😅. Love love love this channel and all of you people!!!
Oh…and I LOVE your big caterpillar leaf sucky thingy!!! I’d love to see how you empty all of the debris out of your truck when you’re done!
Your leaf clean up videos are fun to watch. When you are young we choose to smoke and or drink. Then we get wiser with the years and make better choices. Thanks again for helping out and sharing your story.
This may be late but you do a great job! BRAVO!!!
I love when you talk about you start. Fro the early videos. I always like that you share to help others.. I pray God continues to bless you.
Dirty hands clean money. I'll never figure out why people troll and leave negative comments.
I'm a disabled Marine, and I love lawn care even though I can not do anything but rude mow anymore.
Sir, I truly love watching this channel and learning. Thank you also Mrs Sara [ aka Mrs Juggernaut. ] for you story on this channel also. It goes to show ya that dreams and hard work will provide and God will NEVER leave you as you are trying
Surprised they didnt ask to you blow off the roof a bit.
And that wheeled blower is pretty sweet, never saw one before.
My hats off to you willing to help others.. you know the more professional you and others in your professional in your area are the more your customers will be educated and you all will benefit in better rates. I do believe in uniforms and employees looking professional. I cleaned sewer drain for 11 to 12 years. Always had clean shirt on I may work removing sewage out of drain lines doesn’t mean I have to look like sewage. I was working in peoples homes your work is outside. Still to look like a team never hurts. Company names on shirts never hurt. Do you have a company logo? Maybe I need to make you a patch design.
Just to let you know, I'm not in the lawn care business. I own a tax and accounting business. We do a few lawn care businesses but I am here just for the entertainment purpose of your videos. And everyone I see I hit the like button. Of course I'm already subscribed to this and the boring channel.
Love your hustle! You really bust butt! Appreciate all your advice about the home front as well. Nurturing your marriage helps make the dream work and I really appreciate your sharing that part as well as the business end ! Love your videos!
Great advice on breaking harmful addictions.
The best part of your work, you're outside with a constantly changing ceiling. God bless you and your family 😎🇨🇦🙏 I quit smoking cigarettes 30 years ago 🙏
I agree with you sir with money . As a I retired this June from the Fire Department and Navy, I refuse to touch my savings and make it and that makes me work even harder and I know that the savings are there for my family .
I enjoy your videos so much, it's very calming to me. Listening to you talking about your experiences is very inspirational. The world needs more people like you, Kevin. 😇🤩
Satisfying to watch awesome cleanup of a yard. WISH i had equipment but I’m 68 yr old lady that couldn’t use this kind of lawn tools. I have a leaf blower and love cleaning up leaves a d blowing grass after out hired lawn mowing guy finishes up. Just had the EIGHTY yr old maple cut down this winter so the big tree is gone LOLOL
Love these leaf videos! It has helped me so much with all the leaves in my yard! Keep up the good work!
I am one of the few juggernauts like you out there. Someone crashed into me and total my truck last week and I borrowed my girl's Jeep to finish out the month of my lawns. I am Unstoppable and Unbreakable just like you brother
PA LAWN GUY> Coil up the hose for them, it goes a long ways. ALSO, I recommend you mulch the leaves and then blow them off. IT always seemed to go easier to clean up, have less bulk, and leave some very small pieces to create topsoil and feed the lawn needed nutrients. Love the work like you do but don't know how much l9nger I can do it with arthritics. Blessings on you and yours..
You should be proud. You had to learn and start your business from the bottom up.
I am glade I found your videos.
I think it was a very good thing for me to be honest even if i didn't see it at the time . I really appreciate the support.
I think I have watched every single one of your videos and of course liked every one of them. At least the lawn care business ones. So I decided to look at your leaf removal. I'm not watched any of those I think. So I will start watching and liking those. Thank you again for putting these out.
Again, I am watching my first leaf removal video and I am thinking at the very beginning you really need a big vacuum cleaner for a job like this. Maybe you have one. Love the way you do you're talking in the video.
You are so efficient when cleaning up leaves.
hey man Ethan, loving the videos an love the talks i watched one when you was talking about marriage an it made me feel better about mine we been married almost a year an we've had a much better week after i watched that video so i would love to say thank you.
Ethan that it Awesome to hear brother. Marriage is not always an easy place to be and the first year can be really hard. Always try to stay calm and loving many hard times can be worked out in the wash with a conversation.....never make your wife feel second. I have an older video talking about marriage I still stand behind what I said in that video and what I was working through at that time in that video has changed my life and my marriage for the better. I hope that you and your wife have many many happy years and not if but when things get hard I hope that both of you grow together and learn to love each other in new and deeper ways. In a sense you wont be the same person you are today in 5-10 years and your wife will grow and evolve in life in the same way almost becoming another version of herself. You have a responsibility to help feed positive influence in to your life and live by it when you do it will overflow in to all areas of your life including your marriage.
Well you didnt ask for it but I feel like no one really gave me solid marriage advice. I heard a ton of people let me it sucked but they just couldn't accept responsibility for there part and let there marriage crumble.
@@LawnCareJuggernaut I really appreciate the love man it really made me feel so much better I plan on sticking around to your channel till January that is I joined the military but after 6 months I will be back to show my love thanks for the kind words of encouragement
Great clean up video, Congratulations to your brother on his marriage. I to smoked from 16 to 26 , 3 packs per day, had double pneumonia could not breathe, threw the cigarettes away . I never picked them up again. Not everyone has it that easy.
I quit in 2005. I was smoking a carton a week of Winston select 100s. I was mad that the price kept going up and always shopped at the same place every payday. Told the lady behind the counter that if they got above $25 a carton I'd quit. Of course she just laughed. I went in one friday and they were $25.16. I told her to put them back, that I was done. Health aside,i figure I've saved somewhere close to $20k dollars in the last 16 years. It's hard to figure because i didnt keep up with price increases through the years,so that's just a rough guess. I love your self made man approach and attitude.
I just love leaf vids. So relaxing
That parking lot blower did great! Beautiful trees😍awesome vid y'all 😎💪... I smoked 2 packs a day from 14 yrs old -28yrs old 🤦♂️ I was tired of it making me feel like crap and just quit cold turkey. I also had to quit anything that was associated with smoking for a few months like, alcohol, coffee and stayed away from others who smoked. I don't miss it and wish I never picked up a cigarette.
that parking lot blower is awesome i have started using it with my backpack blower and that is the way to move a done of leaves fast.
Love the integrity
That yard looks awesome make the house look 100% better
I am so proud of you , awesome person Don't let people put you down you are a awesome work best channel
So we do tree service and we were trimming this tree and it got stupidly windy and we were trying to blow the leaves and that didn't work so we started raking them and that didn't work and then the owner said just let them blow away and that was good enough for us 😂 but we just got the blower this year and it has gotten more use then we thought it'd get we use it on every tree job and it makes cleaning up sticks and leaves really easy and it makes my neighbor jealous because I cleaned up his yard in like 5 minutes and it was gonna take him 30 with his mower 😂😂 but thank you for all the great videos and you really have helped us with our business
ya a good blower is Always an awesome addition to an outdoor company
I am glad that i am helping your business as well man.
@@LawnCareJuggernaut it's made our clean ups take almost half as long and the only thing that is sore usually is my legs but we are going to start mowing next summer or at least try it and if it doesn't work out we will stick to trees and trimming
Highly underrated great content and advice. Keep up the great work.
thank you brother that is one hell of a complement
Hey man your videos are really inspiring and really make my day!
All addictions are like that if you tell someone to go on a diet they feel bad but will keep eating what they want. My husband died from lung cancer at age 46 It will shorten your life and then it’s too late You both look alike and very good looking 🥰
Hello Kevin I happened to stumble onto your channel im watching you on tv as I'm texting this message My Name Is John Ingram From fort Smith Arkansas Born here Still Here I Know you Made Joke About Arkansas You being from Oklahoma we have joke's about okies But we won't go there I Like Watching Your Channel And how you do these jobs and you do really amazing work you make a difference in people's lives im sure and obviously you know what your doing I'm your dads age and on disability now health issues I use to do the kind of job's that you do years ago mostly a tree surgeon had my own business with my half brother until he become sick and died of cancer When he died the business died in my mind but As I Said that was then and this is now But I enjoy watching your channel your a good human and seems you have a wonderful family god bless you be safe god speed
You're telling the honest truth I know how it is my girl works I work and a kind of struggle
I've always tried to use a blower to clear beds/walkways into the lawn then a bagging mower with good suction to clean it all up. Mowers with large breathable canvas bags and traditional/legacy mulching style blades work great as they turn the mower into a vacuum with those fan blade angles out by the tips.
So soothing and satisfying to watch!
I'm in the HVAC business and I love your videos.
"An empty bank account lower your I.Q." Words of wisdom. Have you thought about setting up some Johnson-Su biodigestor on clients garden to compost their leaves and then spread it on summer? This is a live coaching channel. Lawn care is just a byproduct. Great content and techniques.
You taking about cleaning up leaves reminds me of the move "Wild Hogs", when John Travolta told the boy getting up the leaves in his yard to 'stop complaining and go home if you can't do the job for ten dollars' Some people don't understand how long it takes to get leaves up in their yards!
🤣🤣🤣
I just found you today. Love your style, and outlook on life. Looking forward to watching the rest of your vids
I found out if you take your push blower and set it behind you turned on, it will help you while you use a backpack blower to push these leaves further. Cut down about 10 mins of my time adding that up all day I get off early from work.
Great advice on how to quite on city's or cigars or an addition good plan on breaking the buying habits
Inspirational affirmations along with the clean up. Nice. Thank you for sharing.
Props to you man 💯 I'm just starting my own business an I'm using my 4dr ram 1500 an 2 backpack blowers an i usly work by my self unless I need to hire a person to work for me. At 100 a day but you are right about that you have to want to work an get out there an get dirty to make that money if not then you'll go with out. But I like all your videos I've learned a lot from watching. 💯 🙏
now this was a good video! appreciate your comments on the addiction.
I dig your videos brotha. Respect the hustle
🐼 Big Bear Hugs from a 67 yr old grandma in Kirby, Texas, USA 🐼..
That parking lot blower is the bomb! Thanks for sharing,
now that i have figured out how to use it its crazy how much of a difference it makes
Watching your videos makes me want to find a local landscaper to do my yard clean up this year. If you were in the Portland area you would be my go-to. However, Tulsa would be a bit of a drive every few weeks... LOL
hahah just a little out of our route
Love watching these video's.So relaxing and interesting.Well done, great job 👍🏻
Much respect for your grind LCJ!
Love watching you clean up ,hi James 👋👍🇬🇧
Love you and your whole family!!!
God bless you all always!!
Love your videos man. Exmark walk behind they are only good when the blades are sharp. When they get dull typically after few days doing fall clean up. They have to be sharpens every other day for best performance. Also where the money is also at at bank owned homes or villages notices You should try to get a contract with them. I do 30 houses for extra income they’re already prorated at 50 a house it doesn’t matter how big the yard is but still I have more small houses that on this list I’m averaging 3 in an hour. So there’s huge money to be made.
I've had a couple people walk away because I charge hourly for my cleanups, but I've been making good money, feeling good about the job, and enjoying the clients I do land. Working with an Echo pb770T and an Echo CSV5S walk behind chipper shredder vac (works good for sucking leaves off driveways but gets clogged and bogged super easy, thinking about putting a more powerful engine on there) Long story cut short, thank you for what you put out, you're a good influence on the community, have good morals, and definitely run an ethical business.
Thank you brother that is an awesome complement! I am glad that you find the videos helpful. I ran a 770 for several years its a good blower i loved that thing.
My husband smoked 30+ years. He had to do three things to help him quit smoking. He was referred to a hypnotherapist who got him to drink bottles of water instead of smoking. He also went to a doctor and got a smoking patch and at night he would attend a class to help him quit smoking. It wasn’t easy for him and he had a couple of slips but within two years he had quit smoking. Unfortunately he still got COPD. Its a mild case though. I’m hoping it won’t get worse.
Proud of yall looks great after how much is this job?
Love your vids man. It’s so obvious in the way you talk and live that you have the Holy Spirit.
One thing I struggle with when it comes to business is being too nice. Doing things for free or quoting to the customers budget rather than what the work is worth (have had phone repair business in the past and would like to start a lawn care business on the side because I love lawn care).
How do manage to be stern on pricing when part of you just wants to be kind and price way low?
First i just want to say thank you for the wonderful complement. As far as pricing goes you have to have a system around your pricing that is broke down according to your expenses and the profit that you are need / wanting to make. once you structure you price you can let the math be the bad guy and not you it removes the emotion out of the equation all you have to do is follow it by doing that you are doing what is best for the client as well as yourself. if you work at a low price that doesn't meet the level of revenue that you need to make you will not be able to be of service to that client for very long or not be able to give them the level of quality that gives the or you satisfaction so buy lowering your price you are doing a disservice to everyone involved with the transaction. I hope that helps
God blessed me with a job I had no clue I would master . I worked that job from the bottom all the to running three of the top offices in the business. I worked 22 years and retired blessed
i quit after 40 years five years ago still quit hind sight i wish i never started best to you guys
CONGRATULATIONS. I feel the same way.
YOU GUYS ALWAYS DO A GREAT JOB. SALUDOS FROM CLIFTON N.J.
Got 3 big oaks myself. Leaves dropping from January to March is a real thing. What a pain.
Very cool editing showing 2 different cameras at once.
Such a great way to utilize tarps bro
Enjoyed watching this video..like watching you videos because they are so relaxing..
