Stop beeping! In this video we permanently solve the obnoxious beep from this microwave box. I really love the microwave overall, it's the best one I've owned to date and I'd buy it again in a heart beat. I just need it to shut the hell up! Check the affiliate link below if you want one. I plan on buying this model myself soon. Love the cyclonic inverter technology, power level, rotary knob control feature, large capacity, and think the overall aesthetics of it are beautiful. And with me on a fixed income and this model currently going for $400 on Amazon. I couldn't bring myself to intentionally mutilate any part of it like this. ... 😂
@Finite-Tuning ; Hey, just got my NN-SD975S and noticed in the manual right at the start of operation. That the "beep" has an option to be turned off. After first plugging it in, just tap the START button three times to cycle through the initial set-up to the "BEEP ON/OFF" option. And then use the "TIMER/CLOCK" to select "OFF." And of course, you don't have to set the clock if you don't want to, but just leave it displaying the colon. So is physically disabling the beep this way and keeping the unit unplugged when not being used really necessary? Or is there something I'm missing here about your personal preference for it?
@@H.T.2forever: If you want the beep forever silent, as I do, then a physical off switch (of sorts) is absolutely necessary. I run mine from a power switch, it forgets everything when power is removed. The only way to make it permanently silent is to physically make it so.
