The last tip about moving the light source while taking multiple shots was new to me and a great idea! Another tip I would add is to take a shot of the background and surroundings without anyone in the scene. This makes it easier to fill in background areas in Photoshop.
I know alot of wedding photographers who dare charge like 10k and they don't even know how to properly use photoshop. It's ridiculous and their photos look basic af.
@1:05 is that awesome group shot taken with a 16-35 lens? I am concerned about lens distortion for group shots with mine. I dont see any distortion in this shot.
I have shot excellent and sharp group photos with over 10 people inside at f1.8 with an entry level Nikon D5600 and 50mm f1.8 prime lens. To pull off the image, the camera must be focused in the dead middle of the group AND most importantly the group must be by as much as possible standing in the same plane of view (ie. all the subjects must be at approximately the same distance away from the camera) for it to work!
Great advice! It looks me a couple years to get really comfortable with group shots (because they can be a little hectic) but these are all great tips! AND love the lighting on the last group demo!
Does light falloff factor into how far back you set the modifiers? If you set the modifier immediately out of frame on the lighted side will you get excessive falloff toward the dark-side?
Please may I know why you're using a low aperture value (F4) here, I'm good with both the shutter speed and ISO but the aperture...? Don't you think (my own thoughts here) that there's that tendendency for some of the subjects to be out of focus?
🌟✨🌟 In that last scene you did a bunch of light pops just like someone would do in a large area real estate shoot. The only difference is that buildings don’t move as you work your way across the scene but people do. What’s the solution to that.??
You mentioned about adding your light in the direction of the natural light (to the left), why not place your light on the opposite side??? Would that not make for a great photo as well???
Konrad Mroczek stole some of the photos in his video "Jak robić zdjęcia grupowe na ślubie z lampą błyskową i bez? (POPRAWIONY FILM I FOTY PRZYKŁADOWE)"

What an interesting idea the last one with the flash and Photoshop
I really like that shot done at 0:50 in the video at f/6.3 35mm with 5 people standing.
Love that last trick to light the group. Thanks
That’s how they do the sopranos group shoots
can we get a tutorial on that last technique re stacking the shots and blending out the layers.
Auto-align the images in photoshop, then it is simply masking in the people who are lit and/or masking out the lighting assistant
Can I use an umbrella for group shots?
Amzing, how to edit for last group photo, enable the assistant at frame?

That 's great bro
Wonderful tutorial
Wow. Good idea.
If i set camera on tripod. Take the light and ipad or smartphone tethered with camera?
F2.0 for large group?? How can this be sharp?

hi from spain! good video! Why did you use ISO 50 in the last picture?
So you don't use the diffuser on the beauty dish. Is that correct?
what lens did you use
yeah did they purposefully leave that out? lolsmh
what kind of light are you using in this video? (which profoto)
What lenses?
Yeah when you have a great venue then it's a lot easier to pose your groups around it.
Please may I know why you're using a low aperture value (F4) here, I'm good with both the shutter speed and ISO but the aperture...? Don't you think (my own thoughts here) that there's that tendendency for some of the subjects to be out of focus?
I believe flash helps to keep things in focus, not sure lol

which software did you use for developing the photos?
Akshay Kulkarni lightroom
Is that Faithfull picture style?
thanks friends, those are a wonderful tips, I think people need information like this
You mentioned about adding your light in the direction of the natural light (to the left), why not place your light on the opposite side??? Would that not make for a great photo as well???
By doing that you are going against the natural light/ shadow direction and creating conflicting and confusing shadow detail and light fall off.
u r the best dude
aperture f2 for group photo??? (2:59)
looks sharp to me, I can't get a clean shot like that at f/11 with my 70-200 hahaha :)
my senior told me it was the perfect center position of the camera and because the camera was far away from the subjects
Distance, that's something to bear in mind.
My dear I am asking the same question here.
@@WordConfused no it not sharp, lol
about to put these tips into practice in about an hour! Thank you.
Nice tips!

Thank you for this. Very usefull tips. You doingbs great job
Thank you for the Photoshop tips! I was wondering how a small light can bright up the whole group
