The Rising Sign is by no means third in command. The Sun, Moon and Rising are all of equal importance- at all times. However if they had to be ranked I would argue that the Rising Sign would be first in command as it's the most time sensitive part of the chart- literally the very moment you were born- and it sets up the whole house structure (life path) of the chart. The Moon (day of birth) and Sun (month of birth- therefore least personal) follow. The Rising Sign doesn't just disappear once you know someone long enough, it's like a second skin/ a filter through which you interact with the world at ALL times. It's just that the more you get to know someone the more the Sun/ Moon qualities are able to come to the forefront- though still filtered through the Rising Sign. For example I still see my sister as VERY Leo (her Rising Sign) and clearly I've known her all my life. But I can also see her Virgo Sun underneath, expressed THROUGH her Leo Rising. The Sun on the other hand is where we shine, what makes us feel special and fulfilled in life. For many it has to be worked towards and doesn't come quite as naturally as the Rising. Sorry for the rant lol :P I enjoyed the video otherwise!
