This is so fucking cool it's beyond words. ClockDVA were so far ahead of the times. They were on another level completely. The editing alone of The Hacker video is worthy of an academy award.
Wish I could find more footage from back in the day of Adi speaking his thoughts as opposed to just reading interviews. Always seemed like a mysterious fellow, but I suppose that image of him fits right in with the music.
Electronic music would become mainstream by the early 90s. This is a great example of what it looks like when someone shows up a few years ahead of their time. People are respectful, but a little confused. If someone showed up 20 years ahead of their time, like they said "I date exclusively using the computer", or "I interact with all my friends only using a computer", they would be viewed as a freak, laughed at.and ridiculed.
Incredible that Clock DVA would appear in a show like that! The 80s' were truly another time. Now we have trap shit, back in '89 we had Clock DVA.
So true, we are in middle age intellectually
oh shut up, they basically did a show like Kraftwerk did

Wow thanks short interview would have liked to have had more questions asked to Adi . Thanks for sharing 👍
done on an Amiga by Bob Baker. they are "playing" Ataris.
Legends
she's hot
Anyone have her OF?
Großartig....
Wow! This is badass. Looks like a kids show. How funny.
There's a still from this TV appearance in the "Black Words On White Paper" book.
Back than on Paul Kings 120 minutes🖤
4:15 bad question
this is close to switzerland
I think it is not pronounced Clock Dee-Vee-Ay english letter sounds,
but D'V'A' slavic/russian/etc. for number two/2
I, as a Slavic speaker, always pronounce it as /'dva/ and not /di: vi: ej/. But than maybe I'm wrong 🤷 I guess Adi knows the best 😁
i think it's DeeVeeAy as it's a play with the word 'deviate'. Clock DVA means something like 'Time Deviation".
@@danielalbinati very
interesting assumption
(I did not think about this)
Initially this was Adi's idea but when he heard people pronouncing it as D/V/A he decided to have fun with it hence the whole "DVA-tion" and all that.
Dull
Kraftwerk did it better
Sad that ClockDVA stopped making interesting music from the time they used computers. Not comparable at all with "Thirst" or "Advantage".
Indeed
buried dreams and man amplified are both fantastic albums.
che figata !!!!!
