I admire her very much because she fell in love with her husband and accepted him as he was...she grew to love Chevalier. They comfortably fell into the situation of three in a marriage.

I'm currently reading the letters she wrote to her Aunt and others. She didn't have a fairy tale life. She loved Phillipe as he was and wanted to be at least cared about , and respected by him, sadly he didn't. She deserved better.

Each love experience is different. I believe Philippe did love Henrietta in as much as he could. I believe his true love was the Chevalier. I see both men as bisexual not strictly homosexual but that’s my take on it. As far as Lottie is concerned. I believe Philippe did grow to love her more than his first wife...as far as he could love her. He was totally in love with Chevy. Ultimately in the tv series Versailles, the three entered a family situation. Three in a marriage. I do not think Philippe ever forgot his duties and obligations as husband but his love was always Chevy.♥️

My favorite character in Versailles.. She found her way into both Phillipe and the Chevalier's hearts and.made their relationship work.
