Once this person came to our college . She, along with her team was supposed to give us girls ( ours was a women's college) 'pre - marriage counselling' . The thing which happened almost 15 years back is still fresh in my memory . She started her ' life guidance' like this ..... She asked us girls , " why do you get married " ? We gave different answers like, to be socially accepted , to have a family, for security so on. She corrected us by saying women get married for 2 reasons 1. For the mental and physical needs of men 2. For taking part in creation plan of God To the baffled young girls , she continued... A MAN gets complete authority on his wife's body and her wealth as soon as he marries her. After marriage, when the wife becomes pregnant, the girl's family should give a gold chain to the husband as a token of appreciation for his 'valour' . Then she went on to share an 'anecdote' .. A 'MAN' whom she knew refused to see his wife and his newborn because the wife's family failed to 'pay off' the complete dowry amount . The 'counsellor' Once again congratulated the 'man' . She went on to add more misogynistic, stupid and unbearably immature statements to an auditorium filled with 100 's of young , intelligent girls . She concluded her presentation with this statement 'ALL MEN ARE GOOD ' I don't know if the teachers of the college were aware of the content of the session or not. But it did leave in me an indelible feeling of negativity towards marriage and a strong contempt for the appalling standards of marriage counselling in Kerala .. Iam sorry to say this. But this lady is a serious threat to the society
I feel the same about her. She is a shameless woman and a disgrace to humanity. She is a victim of patriarchy and suffers from stockholm syndrome. And yet she is pretty popular among women. She is clearly a danger to this society and its progression.
I recently attended the Syro Malabar pre-marriage course, which was a requirement for our church wedding. One of the instructors, Grace Lal, led a session that left a sour taste. Throughout the class, she made insensitive and outdated remarks, such as suggesting that women's clothing choices contribute to rape. Her comments came across as misinformed and arrogant, leaving me disappointed and frustrated. Her boastful attitude only added to the discomfort. She cannot be allowed to continue as a counselor.
This is the best and realistic presentation of what we need to hear.If some body do not like it, they can choose not to hear it.For somebody who want to lead a moral life , a God centered life , it is their choice.just respect it.because every one has the right to differ and hold on to what ever they want to believe or practice.

But my humble suggestions: The over confidence in subject and the habit of what you say about getting excited when some sees a mike? - These have started effecting her presentation to high level! High amount of dramatic behavior! The realization that 'I do not have stage fear' - has soaked her mind fully. Grind this, smooth this and increase humility (mere smiling does not help you to convince that you are humble!)
Whats is this lady talking? Is this personality? Where/when/how she got personality ? Are from traditionally? Who is Christ? Why he came in earth? is he made religion? What a bloody class?
I ATTENDED HER CLASS 2 - 3 TIMES.IT IS ONE OF THE ACTIVE CLASS IN THAT PROGRAMS.WHAT SHE SAYS IS THE REAL PICTURE OF THE CURRENT GENERATION RELATED ISSUES.THE WAY OF PRESENTATION IS THE ATTRACTION FOR THE AUDIENCE.IF SOMEBODY IS GIVING VERY SERIOUS SPEECH/ADVISE SPEECH WHO IS GOING TO LISTEN?
i think the overall message she is trying to deliver is good but some problem some were i think it is the way of the language/gestures she use. If she change the way of speech her class will be acceptable for every one. i mean - it should be some thing like Mr. Gopinath Muthukad delivers in the idea star - junior show. Any way I appreciate her, she tried to change the student's thinking in a different way. focus on the positive side and ignore the negative - all the best

How she can take personality class with out common sense? dont teach/put religious extremism in children.why Gandhi said this"i dont believe Christan people who are living under Christan values but i believe Christ. Hey Lady.? If you want to take personality class, you need to have common sense, experience with common people and plz study bible how Christ interpret in each of situations..
She gives lecture on personality development with the concept of moral and secular teachings of the Catholic Church. Only those who take some pain to understand what is Catholicism will be able to appreciate. What is prevalent among the youth in Kerala is jumping into conclusions without in depth study. That is the main reason why political parties in Kerala find it easy to collect them for activities like hartal, protests etc. Only by developing "thinking habit " we can assess events, things happening around us and other subjects. Excellence too suffers.

Please remember that somewhere in your roots you are from a converted family. so does that mean that all of you including me are something less? how less are others. is this christianity?
