I stayed here in August 2016, long before Covid 19. Watching your video was lovely. I did most of the excursions you shared in your video. I just want to point out that the resort itself was absolutely amazing. The first day I went into that incredible water, it was astounding. I never felt anything like this in my life and I’ve been to other places in the Caribbean. It was like being part of one of God’s miracles, truly. Something came over me on that island and in that place which is hard to explain. You will not want to leave when it is time to go home. It is my goal to return and hopefully find a way to stay for a few months, somehow. The resort and the staff were incredible and went above and beyond. If you treat people with respect, you get it back…just like your parents taught you! Thank you for the decent video and overview.

I wonder when you were there. I see this video was posted the end of June, but I wonder if you traveled earlier in Spring or Summer? Trying to decide on when and where to have you book us an All Inclusive!

Is there music playing around the pool area? And is there anything going on at night ever? Shows or live entertainment? Thinking of going in February
Hey Chris! Yes, they had entertainment nightly, live music and dance shows. The pub is a nice place to hang out as well in the evenings. They do have music playing around the pool, a mix of island music and upbeat music. They will do fun games in the pool as well (trivia, name that tune with a DJ, etc). Keep in mind that I’m February it can get a tad chilly at night, the Bahamas are not as far south as other Caribbean islands. Hope this helps!

This looks amazing! Going in two weeks. Was wondering if they do the covid test that goes deep in your nose or the one around the front of your nostril?
Hi! Have fun and enjoy your trip! When we were there it was a very mild test (I personally am very sensitive to the ones that go very deep in the nose) and it wasn’t that bad at all. It could’ve been the nurse or how they do them there, but it wasn’t bad at all. Hope this helps!!
How was the golf course there? I’m torn between here and barbados. The main thing pulling me here is the golf , but we staid in st lucia this year and the cours was cool to play but not in very good shape.
Hi Tyler, the golf at Emerald Bay is really nice. They host a PGA event here. The Bahamas Great Exuma Classic. When I played the course was in really good shape and it was a beautiful track. We've done Barbados as well. We like this one a tad better. But remember, this resort can be a tiny bit chilly in the winter months, so it depends on when you're traveling.

Enjoy your videos. I’m stuck between Sandals Royal Bahamian or Emerald Bay to elope in March/April 2023. My fiancé and I want a fun atmosphere but also somewhat relaxing. I was worried Royal Bahamian would be too much of a party? Also want a pretty location for the wedding on the beach or one of those wedding gazebos over the water. Any info would be greatly appreciated!
Hey Courtney! Thanks for checking out our channel! Both are great options, you may want to consider April over March, the Bahamas can be a tad brisk at night in late winter. Royal Bahamian has an amazing private island, Sandals Exuma has some of the best water and marine life we’ve ever seen. Royal Bahamian isn’t too much of a party (at least not to us and we’re laid back). Hi. We visited sandals emerald bay and palm island in the Grenadines. What other all inclusive resorts compare to the beach at emerald bay?
Hi! Antigua is close, however you won’t find that same blue water really anywhere but Exuma and Bora Bora. Seven Mile beach in Negril is also a nice option. Exuma is probably the best though ☺️
Great video! We're going in two weeks. What's the fanciest clothing we need to bring? You said pants and closed toed shoes for the men for certain restaurants, right? Anything special for women?
Is there any shade on the pig excursion trip? Is it safe to bring a dslr camera in addition to my phone?
What about mosquitoes on the island? Mosquitoes absolutely love me...sigh.
Hi! Thanks for watching! You don’t need anything super fancy, only two restaurants requires slacks or khakis for men and closed toed shoes for men. Plenty of shade on the pig excursion. As far as the camera it’s whatever your comfortable with, we don’t see an issue with it. Mosquitoes weren’t bad at all, Sandals sprays regularly, but we’d advise to bring some spray regardless just to be extra safe if you’re prone.

For testing: You’ll need to find a testing facility, like local pharmacies, that have fast turn around times. So think of places like CVS or Walgreens.
How long does the Swimming Pigs Adventure last? Is it a whole day thing, or could you golf in the morning and catch this tour in the afternoon?
Hi! We did the half day tour, it’s four hours long total plus transfer time (15 mins). There’s one that leaves in the afternoon that you could probably get 9 holes in or a quick 18. If you’re the first group out it may work for both in one day. Highly recommend doing both at some point during your stay! Hope this helps! ☺️
Do they a room with more than one bed?

Is it possible to/have you ever had clients do a split trip between say Sandals Emerald Bay in Royal Bahamian, for those wanting to experience both?
Hi! Yes that is totally possible! Royal Bahamian is being renovated and will be re-opening soon! They will fly from Exuma into Nassau on Bahamas air (or vice-versa)
How much was club and cart rental fees at that time?

Hey Matt! Thanks for watching! We were there this past April. Yes, the hole covers/bumpers were in place. I was alittle surprised too but it was still a really (really) great golf experience!
Wow! Looks amazing! Would you get a similar experience just going to Nassau? Booking my honeymoon soon and can’t decide on whether we should go to Nassau (Atlantis) or Exuma (Sandals)
We’ve been to both, Nassau is great however it will be a much different experience than Exuma. Atlantis is a very nice resort, however you may want to consider that Atlantis is kid friendly, Sandals is couples and adults only, alittle more intimate of an experience, especially for a honeymoon. Exuma is way less developed, their beaches and marine wildlife are unmatched. Atlantis does have a very nice casino and more nightlife, so it really comes down to what your preferences would be. Hi!! The tour we were on to get to the sandbar was called the Moriah Cay Tour with Island Routes. It was super fun!

Hi Lauren! That tour was Moriah Cay experience. You can also go to Hoopers Bay beach, swim right out and the turtles are there off the beach ☺️! The tour was great though too!! Highly recommend it!

Hi!! If you do excursions bring a small travel bag that you can carry items in. Sunscreen, liquid IV (just in case you have too much fun at the swim up bar one day 🙂) We’ve got a ton of great info in our podcast. Also some of the basic OTC medicine is not a bad idea to take, just because the resorts charge a lot for it in the gift shops.
Looking at going next year. How much would you recommend safely budgeting for the entire trip?
Hi! It depends on the time of year and how many nights you’re looking to stay. Also room category level. For example we just did a custom quote for October of this year, standard room, 7 nights, and it was about $6k. Our agency can also do payment plans on certain trips that will help you pay as you’d like. Yes it was the most beautiful beach I’ve ever seen and food was great 👍🏼 however our excursions got canceled both days because of the weather so we’ll have to go again soon
What would you recommend, sandals Grande Antigua or Emerald Bay? Going for my honeymoon next July! Looking for an amazing beach but also fun resort.
Also was the swimming with the pigs included with the all inclusive?
Both have great beaches, we rank Emerald Bay higher. Their beach is private, the water is amazing, and we liked the restaurants better as well. Emerald Bay will be more expensive however, so much of it may depend on the level of room category you want, budget, etc. Antigua is also amazing!
@@ellithomas978 no, that is a separate excursion at a separate cost. It’s one of our favorite excursions we’ve ever been on!
What sandals resort has been your favorite? So many great places to choose from!
@@ellithomas978 it all depends, there are many great ones, however just comparing resorts, Sandals Grenada would be our favorite. We also like The Grande St Lucian, and Sandals Southcoast. We’ve been to all of them, when you factor in things to do off property Emerald Bay is amazing (best excursions out of all of them).
Is the beach private
Hi! Thanks for checking out our channel! The beach is shared with the resort next door (Grand Isle). There’s no beach vendors and it feels extremely private. The island that the resort is on is very very small (roughly 7,000 people). It’s also the most beautiful beach in the sandals portfolio in our opinion.

Hey Renee! Our room was really nice, it wasn’t 2021 modern, but it was really nice and clean! We’ve been to every Sandals and a ton of other resorts/all-inclusives and we were very impressed overall. The Exuma islands offers an extremely unique experience, and the resort didn’t disappoint at all!!
