    Alloy wheels are exposed to the elements and all sorts of dirt and road grime. WD-40 Multi-Use Product protects metal from rust and corrosion, penetrates stuck parts, displaces moisture and lubricates almost anything…and cleans up alloy wheels a treat! Simply spray on a clean, soft cloth and rub over. For more stubborn dirt and grime, use a brush or apply more pressure to remove. Don’t Spray on Brakes....

  • @poonchild
    @poonchild 6 лет назад +35

    WD stands for "water displacing" and its main use is as a solvent or rust dissolver. The lubricant-like properties of WD-40 come not from the substance itself, but from dissolving components. And the effect doesn't last. WD-40 can be a good substance to start with - it can help clean up rust or other grime

    Yeah that's an excellent idea,. Spray it onto your brake discs so they will spin nice and fast and you won't have to stop at any more of those pesky traffic stop lights ..... You could also spray some up your nose while your driving . It has a mild anesthetic effect for those moments you collide with other idiots who also sprayed their disc brakes with it !! 😂😂😂😂

    Another use: repel moist and corrosion from connectors. It is non conductive, so just spray. Even works great with ignition parts, like old type distributor and on sparkplugs and its leads.
