Although Articuno is the only Legendary bird to remain in the Crown Tundra, it's arguably the trickiest of the three to catch. We found it lurking on a cliff in Snowslide Slope, just above the ruins that house Regice. When you approach the Pokemon, however, it creates two illusory clones of itself to throw you off.
Not gonna lie, Peony is one of the most interesting characters Gamefreak has made. I really want to see more of him and even see him interact with Rose. 🙏

Little tip for anyone who's not gotten Moltres yet: Just whistle while Moltres is flying near the dojo. Use your bike to catch up for a while if he doesn't hear the first one, but when he goes over water, your best bet is to just wait at the dojo for him to circle back
I was hunting for a dragalge and moltres just came up to me, a sharpedo slammed into me and then he was waiting while i whistled. I found it super exciting because of how unexpected it all was

I really liked how they did the legendary birds. Having to literally chase a legendary felt right in so many ways. I really like the variants too.

20:56 the three primary characters throughout the game are all undefeated Champions. Peony and Mustard. Makes Leon feel a little less special. Or hilarious. That he’s all “undefeated and undefeatable” when 2 previous guys were also

Just throwing this out there- easiest way to catch moltres is to repeatedly fly back in front of the dojo with fast travel to reset it's position and just bike out in front of it
So what Klara said (Avery if you play shield like me) about being gym leader actually changes their battle title when you do the rematch at the dojo where it says "You are challenged by gym leader Klara!" And the team is different due to her using the new slowking as her final pokémon, in shield Avery does the same thing with him using a slowking for his final pokémon

That ai part is too accurate. Here's a recent example me and my friend had. We where 1 away from getting to the raid boss and had 4 hearts. We had to fight jellicent and we had a water type, fire type, a random pokemon and electabuzz. You think that despite that, we would be alright right? A foolish miscalculation! Electabuzz kept spamming helping hand on all of us. It's ironic since doing so helped us 0% and we left with only 2 hearts. A runner up for the worst ai was when this eevee girl kept telling her amoogus to spam rage powder EVERY SINGLE TIME!!! Ever single raid!!!!

Nightres(Moltres) is on a set pattern, which made the race too easy, also...Nightres doesn't acknowledge you at all(meaning that bird won't land) but it stops if you are below it. ALSO, Dusty caught Nightres in a Nest Ball somehow

I'm envious of you finding Articuno relatively quickly, because it took me OVER FIVE HOURS TO EVEN CATCH A GLIMPSE OF THE DAMN BIRD!!!
To get moltres you just have to take a flying taxi to the train station, then wait just in front of the bridge then whistle when it goes above you
When I was battling Galarian Moltres it took me a couple times because I got it to one hp and paralyses, but it never got fully paralyzed and kept breaking out of my timer balls, spamming nasty plot and then it had max special attack and swept my team with fiery wrath and hurricane
I feel like Sharpedo is Mikey's number one fan that is willing to do anything just to get to him

Consider yourself lucky with articuno, ive seen a lot of people having hail during the battle, meaning several more needed encounters, pain, and probably rain(or sun, as long as the weathee doesnt kill it)

Technically speaking, Necrozma, a Psychic type, is an ultra beast...as is Solgaleo, Steel and Psychic, and Lunala, Psychic and Ghost. But, it could also be Mewtwo, or Lugia.

Galarian Zapdos is personally my favorite even though it's a pain to catch. Amazing catch! It's really hard to get and I very much enjoy watching your gameplay and commentary

Timer balls are GREAT for the legendaries, because as you can see, no matter WHO plays it, the turns REALLY stack up, I caught both cobalion, zapdos, and moltres with timer balls
