its the thing every gen does. my parents gen thought we wouldnt know what a radio was bc we had tv and walkman, we think genz wont know what walkman and tape recorders are, bc they had cds and microsds, you guys would think next gen wont know anything about microsds and dvds bc they have internal storage for all stuff. it happens when you grow up with stuff which are not used later by the next gen. and millennials had a lot like that starting with vcr deck and 999 in 1 game boys etc.

We may use the internet for convenience (like pretty much everyone ngl) but we’re not fresh out of the womb : we studied, went to the library, grew up without smartphones for a lot of us, went to college (1st year of college students today were born in 2005) and we are not a monolith, like every generation.

Man. Those National Geographic magazines and alamanacs were everything to my brother and I. If we got good grades at the end of every year, our mom would buy us the new editions. And they were pretty expensive, as I recall. Or atleast expensive to us as grade schoolers. And we were aware that we weren't very well off. But these were the highlights of our year. Buying the alamanacs, going home, and reading about stuff for HOURS.

Sweets (including sweet chocolate) are very rich in sugar which is definitely a high-risk factor for tooth decay, while plain/dark chocolate actually helps to strengthen your teeth and is good for your heart as well!

Yes, Gen Z knows what encyclopedias are. We were taught about them, thesauruses, and dictionaries in 3rd grade. My class was given a personal encyclopedia for our graduation, as is customary. Do I wish learning was less technology-based, yes. But it’s not so awful that we don’t know how to research and learn without a screen.
