Honestly good on him for taking the advice and realizing that he’s got a ways to go before he’ll be remotely close to those lobbies. Too often people aren’t able to handle the criticism. Hope everyone had a great Christmas!
Whenever I watch this series I realize a lot of mistakes I also make and this just makes me so conscious of what I do wrong and what I do right. I'm not a heim player but I pick him up just to play something different and the pre portal placement is something I'm definitely gonna keep in mind.
These must be the guys in my matches, they think they are masters and can’t figure out how a teleport works.

Most Heim players have no idea how quick the short portal goes off
I am rank 10 on Heim, I have never once done a short portal by placing 2 portals quickly....let alone portalled forward. I always use the portal just for a far enough escape to be out of the fight completely. Then again, I am just an arena casual and haven't played ranked conquest in 8 years or something.

Plat is too high for this guy. He's scraped through to plat by just holding m1 after building qins and praying the enemy walks into his AA's.
I would love to see those god guides you talked about around the 20min mark. I feel like I definitely don’t know major mechanics/tricks for most gods I play and there is such limited info in the game to support the learning process
Love the guys attitude at the end you could tell he just really wanted to learn and took the advice instead of coming up with excuses
Are there any gods that get picked for elo hell that you have a gut feeling/know are going to result in a bad match for whoever is playing?

I agree the Heim had some work to do in the opening minutes, like using the portals or keeping his sword ward in the air. But at the start his support, the Charon was playing too far back. He was letting the Ares walk up for free and was late to the silver buff. Plus he (Charon) didn't stand in the camp circle to tank it so both of them got wiped. Might be a bit of elo heaven for the support too. Glad he took his criticism in stride. This is a good reminder for us all that if you don't know what a god does to take a few minutes and read the abilities!
My son got so many toys from my parents too my car was completely full and my grandparents dropped like over a thousand on him because they spoil tf outta him it’s awesome when your family is helpful and cares about your kid
I'm pretty sure the ares figured out who the elo hell player was the first 1:30 when the hiehm missed 5-6autos ina row, I'm pretty sure a diamond adc would never miss more than 2-3 autos ina row
19:47 I love going to check the ability demo for a god, and seeing something that has not existed for 2+ years! Seriously though, there are so many ways HR could improve the learning experience yet I doubt that aspect even gets considered within the next couple of years.
Give REAL pros v.s. cons, synergy examples depending on the role, TEACH PEOPLE THAT AA CANCEL EXISTS, this feels like less than the bare minimum
It took me a little while to learn how Heim’s three works (like 10 games in) so it’s not surprising to me

I've always been a heim main, and with that early game build it's some of the most fun I've had on the god
When I had to be a pallbearer I went to goodwill(well had my nana meet me at goodwill) to find one and luckily I found a decent one that fit fine don’t underestimate goodwills plethora of jackets man I spent like $40 for an entire suit

I thought that was to actually teleport not to do the AA trick. But you don't wanna teleport cos you are clearing with your support.
I normally start my 1 it's faster than aa cancelling but at level 2 always get your 3 so you can start AA cancelling the wave and keep up with high clear hunters
I'm pretty sure it was meta for awhile but I don't think it's the must go anymore
@@Weak3n maybe I’m thinking back when golden arrow was the start. That’d make more sense. Less power for the 1 but more dmg on the auto cancels

Would you say Atalanta's is good on Heim? I've always felt that unless Qin's is in a very strong state, you'd be better off building something else on Heim since his autos are at a minimum 30% slower than other hunters meaning 30% less Qin's procs. Full Pen + Atk Spd is what I would think makes sense on him, and building Atalanta's right after Dev's would be a huge Flat Pen power spike. I don't know how you'd lose lane at least at the point of that spike.
However one thing I do know is NEVER build crit on Heim, and with crit being so good right now, Heim is just not the pick.
