  • Scotland Tonight follows one man's journey as he goes through a heart transplant procedure.
    Colin Gray was living on borrowed time, before he got the go ahead to receive a new heart in a complex operation carried out in Glasgow.
    More people received heart transplants at the Golden Jubilee University National Hospital than anywhere else in the UK in 2023.
    This programme contains footage from a live heart transplant surgery.
