Awesome channel. I watched the battery in depth videos a while but this video along with the new way to save this as a multi instrument in studio one has made me revisit your tutorials and start using battery in my work flow. This is amazing. thanks for putting all this stuff together.
Hi! Thank you for the full tutorial! I did not know about that little midi learn button before! However, I am struggling to assign "tune" parameter of a sample to a knob! I've wasted a lot of time without success. Could you help?
Hi... Thx for the Tutorial but i have a Question..,,! In the ending of this Video you showing how to Change Dome Parameters from the Chord. How can i usw the Chord only on my Keyboard to Play any other Tone ,?? I would Like this Chord played in every possible high or Low Note 🤔 can you Help me . Greetings
Excellent tutorial! I've watched a few of your Battery vids today and they've been very helpful. Question... Do you know if Battery will sum a stereo sample sent to a mono output, or select only the left/right channel? Some of my hi hat, cymbal and percussion samples are stereo and panned left/right. Having to center these in Battery for accurate panning once they're routed to the Console is a PITA.
Glad you've found the videos helpful. I'm not sure sure about you question though. You can choose whether to send your samples out on a stereo or mono channel, however. Maybe if you just use a stereo channel for your panned samples...
Hi, It works so far. Thanks ! I can trigger the samples with my pads. But the (its just a visual issue) cell (highlight) is not jumping from c1 to c#1 for example. C1 stays highlighted even when I trigger C#1. Do you have an idea ? EDIT: Solved by activating *Selection follows MIDI Input*
My mapping starts at c3. It won't line up like in your video. I have atom, atom sq, mpc studio black and komlpete 61 in my template as controllers. Should i start with new song instead of trying to set this up in a template.
When you open up the editor by double clicking on the MIDI part, you have to be sure you switch it to the "Drum View". Otherwise, the Atom will start on C3. When the pads turn blue on the Atom, then you know that the first pad in the bottom-left corner will start on C1.
2:07 Well, Battery 4 has been out since 2013 if not 2012. So here's hoping there will be a Battery 5 in Komplete 14 (or better put: for when 14 is out). Komplete 11 brought us Reaktor 6, 12 introduced Kontakt 6, 13 delivered us Guitar Rig 6. Given that Battery has been in Komplete since version 1... I think there's a fair chance we'll see Battery 5 soon. Let's hope they will figure out I suppose a 4 x 4 with pages standard instead of the X x Y.

the audio routing will save if you use the "Store Instruments+FX Preset" option. It will even save the Pattern Labels.. 👍
Great Tutorial Thank You!
No problem. Glad you found it helpful and thanks for watching.
Good looking bro.
I was using maschine as a vst and sampling the drum kits on mk3. Now I can map it to the piano roll/patterns.
Great video!!
Thanks!

With this method, how do you play different pitches for each cell/sound?
Question. The free version of studio one... Do you have to make an account for it?
He sounds like Gus from Breaking Bad

I guess they abandon this as they did for abaynth
You didn't tell the newbies how to open battery in studio one. All of that info is useless if I don't know how to open Battery in Studio one.
If you can't figure out how to open a 3rd-party VST in Studio One, music production "in the box" may not be your calling.
