I quite often get the Element Lord dropping in the early stages of Mars. Normally, I ignore it, as it is one of the weaker ships. However, it you were to pick it up, then deliberately take a hit, you would have a 50/50 chance of getting the Hurricane Hawk, which is only one below the Thunder Blade, and can be promoted on to the Cyber Blade as you have demonstrated. If you get the Assassin when it breaks, then you are back to where you began and no worse off.
The pvp event is definitely a pay to win. My dad completed all of the events, and he only got around 4,500 pvp currency to get the Light Cyber Blade. He spent nil on the event, and he needs a bit less than half to get the skin. This game is great, but at least make it doable for a free player.
I've dome the whole "turn off other ships other than Cyber Blade" thing and it has never worked!...I still get Element Lord dropping...and no Cyber Blade...
The Cyber Blade rarely drops directly and Element Lords seem to constantly drop which is kind of annoying. You kind of have to do it by the method in the video, and that is to get a sound breaker or thunder blade then hope the other ship drops needed to make the Cyber Blade
@@MCWUKGaming The problem is that if you happen to pick up the Breaker 1st you're not going to get a Thunder Blade afterward...Your only hope is to pick up a TB early on and hope for the best...whilst ignoring the Legendary and other drops that will come up before you (maybe) catch the 2nd ship to form CB...It's a crap-shoot for me...
@@sudds50 if you get a breaker early on you need to pick it up, then you can pick up another ship afterwards. Hurricane Hawk will make a Thunder Blade drop at the boss with the power squad, so you have several potential options available to get that Cyber Blade, as long as you don't fail early on. What you have said though is true, it's still going to depend on luck which is why it took me multiple attempts before I got this run

That's an interesting idea if you don't use the golden wings, otherwise it would make the Element Lord go golden instead of the Cyber Blade
