- Here you are the first footages of a Ferrari FXX K mule that was testing at Monza Circuit yesterday. This car features some new aero devices, new rear wing plus probabily some upgrades under the hood that increase the total power and improve performance. All these upgrades announces the coming of the "Evoluzione" (Evolution) model of the FXX K which will probabily be unveiled later this year.
Enjoy some V12 pure sounds and watch how fast this test mule goes around the track!

LPX7129ER You would see that when someone will want to shame Porsche acting like the big fish with their 919 EVO, taking an F1 car out of the technical regulations would mean that the limit is set by the driver and not by the car, not even a driver that is a mix of Schumacher, Senna, Nuvolari, Lauda, Moss, Villeneuve and Fangio could come close to the real limit of the car.

VlogsByMoizz well sadly you can’t keep it in your garage, Ferrari keeps the FXX cars for you in Maranello and they send them to you on special track days for you to drive, so your paying millions of dollars to just drive your car around the track for a while

If you watch it for the sound, you watch F1 for the wrong reasons and i recommend you go find something else to watch.

When I was coming up, we would see a single spy shot in a magazine with a few words beneath it. By the time the article was released, the mule was already put out to pasture and the production car was either released or the project squashed. Now, you're giving us realtime top quality videos with a well-written description and all the sights and sounds we could only previously have dreamed of. Thanks for the great comment again mate! :) Never thought of changing my mind about this car. Yes, I wasn't a fan of the FXX K (ok, sound and look 100% approved XD) and I just figured out why: I was too used to see it driven by private owners. I'm not criticizing how they drive their cars, there are some of them that really push hard on track. But the FXX K always seemed to me just an extreme version of a road-legal car with slick tires, track setup, better brakes etc, so not a proper GT-race car. It still has some sort of "road car behavior" on track.
But by watching a test driver who inevitably MUST squeeze it to the limit I understand what a monster this car is: short braking distances (starting from aerospace speeds...), a great grip on medium-fast corners (like Ascari, at 3:23) and a fantastic traction on low gears accelerations (even though this was a defect of the "normal" K, now it seems a lot better to me... maybe have they introduced a hybrid 4WD system? Like a double electric engine that works on front wheels? Just guessing...). Can't really wait to see the final result and how it looks with a proper paintjob. Have a great day Mick!

The bit about the FXX-K Evolution being more powerful as in producing more horsepower is incorrect as this is described to be an aerodynamics package installed onto an FXX-K.

I really wish Ferrari would make such a car as their next hypercar. A car that would have a huge rear wing, extremely lightweight, 1000+ hp, and an engine sound like the one in this video...simply a pure road-legal racing car, like the F40 was when it came out. That would be the ultimate beast.

2 or 3 years ago Ferrari going back to Le Mans was a real possibility, but now Audi have pulled out and Porsche plan to quit the WEC at the end of 2017, so there wouldnt be much point in Ferrari going back if there is no competition. The problem is the LMP1 cars have got to expensive to run. I think a return to the older more simple 'GT1' format would tempt a lot of manufacturers to come back.
JayRicci7891 No, Manufacturers are starting to move towards Formula E cause of its capabilities for testing electric engines for road cars. And due to this, Formula E is not only inexpensive, but growing as well. WEC is hitting a roadblock the way it is now, and it'll be hard to compete in the coming years.
Chris, there is some truth to JayRiccis comment, you might want to Google it. Manufacturers have said LMP1 cars are too complicated and too expensive.
Darth Trumpius I am aware, and I did point that out saying how inexpensive FE is, making it more preferable, and due to the chance to cash in on newer technology that has nothing but benefits to improve on makes it more preferable as well.

8/10ths of the enjoyment I get from owning my Mk2 RS is the 5 cylinder noise....and previous to that, my TVR. The noise they make is inbuilt into our very DNA as petrol heads. Excellent video, thanks for sharing.

marelld cuz ı'm McLaren guy and FIA always kept Ferrari's side. And FIA was against McLaren and Renault cuz Michelin tyres. And about road cars Ferrari sells cuz of it's name. No record since years no overperformance NO durability and SO overpriced. You can kick 458's ass with MORE MORE cheap cars easily. Ok they are beatiful good sounding and driving is fun BUT they are like Apple. Always just a lil bit more but in the end same thing happens.
