    Okay so let me recap this gentle giant dude.
    He gets terrorized by his mother, starts acting weird as hell, tortures and kills their cat, he runs away from home because he couldn't take it anymore, his dad doesn't want him so he lives his grandma who also treats him bad, he kills both his grandparents, gets send to insane people prison, then goes FREE and sent back to his mother????

    • @ertjiesb4158
      @ertjiesb4158 2 года назад +2

      It's actually strange to think that there are a number of mental illnesses that normally gets associated with a person being smarter. Obviously not always, but a lot of the time.
      Like autism, ADHD and even to a degree narcissists, sociopaths and psychopaths. I amsure there are a lot of other ones as well.
      I wonder if it's a sort of 'compensation' in the body, that because you can't focus you are smarter (this is a generalization). So your smarts are because of the fact that your brain works differently.
      Or is it a fact of the brain is too smart, so to 'cope' with that in a sense there are some 'deficiencies' in other areas. So you have autism because of being too smart.

    • @NaNa-re3wc
      @NaNa-re3wc 2 года назад +8

      @@ertjiesb4158 ADHD is a coping mechanism developed in childhood (Dr. Gabor Matè explains it the best). Also, with things like depression I think part of it could be more awareness of the complexity of the world and the brain not knowing how to integrate or solve problematic aspects of life. The brain probably short circuits a bit for lack of a better term. As for bipolar and schizophrenia that seem to typically have high levels of creativity and intelligence, I have nooo idea.

    If they actually accomplish something meaningful with their IQs, then it has some validity.
    Goethe's IQ is often estimated at above 220. In his case, it makes sense or has meaning because of what he did with his life.
    It is stupid to dedicate one's life to something meaningless. It's a stupid choice, no matter how high the test scores.

      @@creatorzp There are psychologists who specialize in the mentally gifted. There is a subset of those psychologists who specialize in the extremely gifted. They dedicate their academic and professional careers to this. I've read their studies, and Goethe's IQ is usually estimated in this range. John Stuart Mill and Shakespeare are usually in the same range.
      BTW, it is interesting to read their studies of the highest IQs in history. They are far, far better educated and more accurate than the vast majority of YT and online claims.
      It's also interesting how the very highest IQs tend to be among the leading philosophers and philosopher-poets, not the physicists and other scientists.
      You can't really estimate the odds mathematically, and say something like 1:200,000,000,000. You can, but it is inaccurate. The bell curve is not perfect. There are some blips at the extremes.

      @VoltDenatsu You stated "If you are a 180 IQ, you will notice people at this IQ actually have a very limited range of emotion." Having a range of emotion and demonstrating emotion are significantly different. Emotional intelligence is not so much concerned with emotional control as it is with intelligence in emotions; that is, the essential conceptual and evaluative components of emotions, their insights, and not just their “regulation.” To say that emotions have intelligence is thus to insist that they essentially involve and require the abilities to conceptualize and evaluate and that they often employ these abilities to excellent effect. It is our emotions that make us human, and this is not in contrast to our much-touted intelligence but in intimate conjunction with it.

    I've always heard that some genius people go mad. But to be serial killers. It sounds like most of the one's here that had their childhood filled with violence and the lack of love, mainly the lack of love, are the same as most serial killers. It is such a terrible thing to be basically raised to be a serial killer. I know people have a choice but we would not know ourselves unless we had been treated that way ourselves. I was raised with a hell raising alcoholic father. No physical abuse and emotional abuse every day. I had a lot of family. and a fantastic mother and I was shown tons of love. Fun fact, IQ's were largely created by someone involved in Eugenics and often or not he would avoid testing the "higher class" and used it as a tool to group "undesirables" together. The philosophy of bias and the depths of which each cognitive bias goes to also dismounts the results of all IQ tests.
