I buy from many vendors and love solar lights but I never use the dim to full setting due to bugs. The dim light will attract bugs which constantly trigger full brightness killing the battery. Keep it off until motion is detected and the batteries will last at least a few years or more.
If I set up the light in the street and turn on the light (off and on mode), If someone passes under the light in the day time, its a west of energy, or is there any system to turn off the light in the daytime or I have to climb that light post daily in morning to turn off and in night to turn on? I'm a little confused, please help me.
What have you seen for gutter lights that are one lumen or better? You did an excellent review. But I would need to mount this light under a house eve and of course, that won't work.
Hello, i see that the light you have has 48 LED's and it looks super bright. i liked it i think is pretty awesome.. i tried finding that specific model on eBay and Amazon i also clicked on your link and all i find is a 36 LED Model. can you please share where you bought your from and for how much. thank you in advance..
Thanks for the info. This one would be about 7 watts or 7 times as much as the headlamp I'm happy with. But my house eves are about 18 inches. I really need a gutter mount. Maybe I can figure some way to make a gutter mount out of this.
These solar sensor lights designed wouldn’t lasted in uses more then 3 months max.If you uses outdoor in weathers only of 60-50 degrees like for securities lighting.Than it is dead and wouldn’t ever work again, then it turns into a paperweight and wasting your hard earned money. These things inside of it designed of it circuitries building and putting it togetherness it is craps.I bought one of these similar designed but it came in like a 4x4 like a wooden block not like this one a big rectangle square designed.I lived in Southern California weather never get cold outside only 60-50 degrees at night is the maximum almost all year around.Yes this thing only lasted 3 months as a security light outside of my house porch.
But, as you said (in pidgin), yours was NOT the same unit. So, your complaints are irrelevant. The battery cell(s) in this and many other solar LED lights are easily replaced.
Motion Security lighting is a complete waste of time and money! Why? Because thieves love them..Why? Because no one pay's attention NOR do they want to get involved. No call to the police but your neighbor will close the curtains. Most people that might notice think it's a cat passing through. What they DO DO..is show the would be criminal where all your stuff is..making things extremely easier to see what they wish to see. Also offering better access to your backyards, what's inside your vehicles or whats in your RV. My buddy installed one..the neighbor noticed a guy outside his car and he waved at the light to turn back on after it went out. He lost some camera equipment that he was going to remove after he was finished dinner. Instead he lost it all. Light is NOT SECURITY..it's purely illumination and that's it. You're much better off using IFR cameras that can see in pure darkness. At least it'll act as a witness where as light cannot.
This isn't true, I used to work in security and know for a fact that a house that's well lit is much less likely to be broken into. One of the best things you can do to keep your house secure is the keep the outside well lit. Think of it from a burglar's point of view - are you gonna rob the house that's really bright or the dark house across the street?... Most robberies happen during the day anyway. Just keep the house locked and put a security company sign outside (cheaper and almost as effective as having a security system). Here's some more tips: put prickly bushes outside of the windows, don't keep a ladder by the house in the back yard as many people do if you have a multi level house, this just makes it easier to access a 2nd story window that is less likely to be kept locked, no windows on your garage door - can just break it out and access the quick release on the door inside. and KEEP YOUR DOORS LOCKED! Hope this helps...
Hi I just wanted to tell you that you can use driveway motion sensors to detect movement going on around your premises, I buy them from harbor freight stores, and they work great, along with cameras as a bonus...you should see the reviews on u-tube and how to pair them also.
Thanks for the review. I've put up 7x 48 LEDS Solar Lights with mounts around my house and they've been working great for about 3 weeks.
can it still work?

would you like to try upgrade version?

This should work but I can't attest to the longevity or build quality: amzn.to/2ejO5Oq They're super cheap though.
Thanks. It is worth a shot.
this would be great to light up a parking spot.
+heresteven Yeah it would!
Odd question, would this work well inside a 9 x 9 tree house?
+mony19831 it would work great, as long as it has direct exposure to the sun to charge.
Would have bought 3 tonight but as per usual amazon won't ship to Canada.
Great video. Only thing giving me pause is the shape/styling/color of the light. Looks great otherwise.
Ware can I buy one and what is the price?
I was wondering to ask what is the angle of motion detection, considering the fact that the device stands 90 degree on the wall?
+Nishfa Hedazrim it's offset in the back at like a 45 degree angle, at a height of about 12 ft it'll trigger at 15 ft easy.
nice review sir, i like to buy one.
Im interested in finding some that have the option of... off to on bright... no dim..
How do u mount it like outside of garage????? how will it get sun if the solar panel is on back
+Catfish James screws. Lights face down, solar panels face up (the direction of the sun).
how long time solar light 30 day ?
I see the link above now thanks
+Craig List the old link wasn't working, just updated it.
where to buy??
where to buy....
love
I think you might be holding a 36 LED
How many lumens does it put out?
+kanehi Idk. It's bright for what it is. All the lumen ratings claims these days are BS anyway.
Can you compare to a incandescent bulb or fluorescent? With your auto exposure in the camera the light output looks the same
+kanehi it's like a 100w incandescent, at least.
Thanks

Oopa. I meant to say one watt.
Here's what you want: amzn.to/2epYdQj Should do exactly what you're looking for!
