I really like how you teach.. you keep it friendly!
I've been searching for a friendly trainer/Sifu for a while. I will 100% buy your course
I plan on buying a wooden dummy next spring and doing it properly. I have the basic blocks and punch from the elbow. Tan Sau, Fuk Sau always a tennis ball distance between the elbow and the body.
Mentally I'm ready to learn. I'm looking forward to studying with you man 💪🏽

thanks you for providing a link to this for your definition of gate theories. To me, this seems more just an extension of centerline application. You mention zone defense, offensive zone defense, and 6 or 8 gates. But no really definition of what these are, why 6 or 8, id it both or either-or? When is it one or the other? how they are employed, visialized and utilized? Very important questions to answer imo when talking about wing chun gate theories and application

How does wing chun account for feints and uppercuts?

If you’re in close-quarters feints are responded to with a strike. Uppercuts are defended by having a low centered elbow.

Dude! I like you. I'm a fan. I am now subscribed. I've been doing wing chun/wing chun do Gung fu off & on since 97...I say off & on bc well life happens. Great stuff here, you're the real deal. I just wanted 2 say elbow pockets are important too, keeping them in place helps with trajectory as well. I am excited to watch everything you have & see more. Cheers, journey well & tai chien. Spell check but Mandarin for "until we meet again." Sir.
