I wonder how many people realize that this dance is actually SUPER HARD to do irl. For a one-take, you killed this. Well done!
Super hard. I still haven't seen anyone pull off the foot kicking part like the animation...which was impressive even for an animation.
i mean strictly speaking it's straight up physically impossible, the animation snaps into a different position in a single frame at one point if you slow it down
Like the Diva's song in "The Fifth Element", it is not even meant to be possible to replicate in real life.
I don't think anyone thinks this dance is easy to do. The video of this song and the animation are fine for animated characters but looked in certain parts way too sped up to make sense for an actual human body

The reason the animation looked so smooth was because the dance was so exaggerated. It's actually insane to see someone managing to translate that into choreo that can be done irl. Good stuff.

@@blanche__mv had Ui lean pretty far right and left with considerable speed. A person could certainly mimic the movements, but not at the speed shown in the MV. Person in video makes it more manageable by leaning far less into the pose, but keeps the wide arm movements. So arms are still following the wide movements of the mv, but torso stays more centered since that is what will slow down most.
the oversized backpack sells it, I can't believe how good the performance was in front of so many randos. The pressure musta been immense!

Well otaku are realy...serious when it come to otaku things , if you go to a live , while the idols sing and are trained to last long while having breaks , fans are still waving their hands with glowsticks realy fast , sometimes for 2 hours

An other thing , while its a litle old , suzumiya haruhi anime made a whole fans gang to do the ending dance , all at the same time , while this dance wasnt even showed in any of the tv episodes
Basicaly , the description of an otaku is someone that is a hardcore fan of some kind of things , and they will spend everything they have , such as money , time and energy to do what they want to achieve

I use something like a briefcase but the strap rests on my shoulder (like what you see in high school based animes from the 90s)

Nice. One trick I do when learning dance moves is to practice them with the songs SUPER slow...that tones the muscles and helps me get smooth/relaxed moves. Then I practice the song at faster speeds until I'm at about 1.20x speed of the original (That really loosens your moves up). Then when you practice the song at normal speed...everything is super smooth.
I genuinely think 1.20x speed for this song might be literally impossible 😭 it's so hard

Public speaking/performing is totally a skill you can practice. Some people have a knack for it but really anyone can learn it. The more you do it the better you get at not being nervous. Gambare!
