- This is from the play Boys by Ella Hickson, in which I am playing Sophie.
This monologue explores themes of grief, lust, morality and relationships. It can be a very powerful piece but I think it can also be too easy to fall into performing it all mopey and sad due to the grief aspects. So I would recommend trying to find something new within it and challenge yourself by exploring new levels.
This play is a must read for young people interested in theatre. It's slightly overdone but can be so impactful when done correctly!
I really hope you enjoy it and feel free to follow my instagram for more updates on monologues or if you have any questions @nansi_love .
Thank you for watching!
Wow, that just blew my mind. So very authentic.
Absolutely amazing. I'm about to do this monologue for my GCSE
This was fantastic! A lot different from the other interpretations I’ve seen (in the best way possible!), it gave the character so much more of a journey in this monologue I thought.
Thank you so much Hazel that’s really kind of me and I’m glad that you enjoyed it x
Wow, that was really good. Keep up the good work!

Considering doing this monologue for my drama exam. Have been trying to find an angry or evil monologue for a female from a published play but that seems to be harder than I thought it would be to find. Do you know of any?
