    Guys! I'm sleeping early tonight due to my condition right now, but feel free to leave me in the comments down below your question. I'll answer as much as I can when I wake up!

      A few years ago I dyed my hair 4 times within 10 days and my hair didn't get damaged at all...

      Well, I was wondering if for frizzy hair, like to get the moisture back in my hair, I can use only Olive Oil? And If so, how many times a week?

      What can I do if I bleached the bottom of my hair and chopped off all my length (I had hair down to the bottom of my back and now it's too my chest) to try and get rid of the brittle ends and damage that my hair had but my hair is still feeling like straw? :( I have invested in a few deep conditioning masks but since I can only use them once a week to avoid my hair from receiving too much protein, I can't see much of a difference, :( Help!

    • @beautyklove
      @beautyklove  10 лет назад +1

      Nelly Delgado Yes, you can. You can use it once a week,you can also use shea butter! it's great for retaining moisture and taming down any frizz on the hair. Careful not to use too much though and also using an ACV rinse is really going to help wash out the excess oil off your hair. :)

    • @beautyklove
      @beautyklove  10 лет назад +4

      MsPinkLaugh I know what you mean, it really takes time for your hair to recover, just be consistent with your hair care routine. I find that using conditioners/leave in conditioners or using oils in the bottom part of my hair especially my ends has really help moisturize/soften them. Yep, that's why I only use my hair mask once a week because too much protein on the hair can make your hair stiff. :)

      Virgin hair means no dyeing, highlighting, curling iron, any commercial anything. What a story, you really killed your hair. When I go to salons [very rare to get a trim but no longer, I just learned from a youTube site: Morroccan Hair Method-how to do a self blunt end trim] anyway.... salons smell my hair and touch it because it's not "DRY." I hope you learned your lesson, no hair drying and any form of hair dyeing.... PLEASE GIRLs..... stop this as you don't want your hair to fall our by the time your 60 years....

    I used to have healthy hair, and I didn't take it into appreciation nor was I grateful for it. I grew into the teenage stage where, I guess, I was more aware of my looks and my self esteem. Starting to use heating tools, I noticed I really felt happy (at that time) about how to looked! So then it became a ritual or a routine. Now my hair isn't as silky as it used to be. I want to try this out, but my natural hair doesn't look nice. It's straight, until at the ends, it flips upward. I also don't look good in braids or buns. I really want my hair back in it's healthy state, but I'm afraid I just will loose my confidence. Any suggestions? Trims, mask, anything!

      Don't brush it! If it's curly and you brush it, it just becomes poofy and dry looking. Use a good leave-in oil AFTER you wash your hair and only use a wide-toothed comb to comb it out after washing. If you want softer waves, continue to GENTLY comb with that wide-toothed comb every 5-10 minutes or so until it dries (or wear your hair in a braid until it dries for soft waves). If you do the braid method with enough oil and sleep on it, you could carefully brush it from the bottom-up the next day and it most likely won't poof out, but dry curly hair without a good oil or something to weigh it down looks awful after brushing! Also, try the coconut milk leave-in treatment once or twice per week -- I've heard it softens curls.

    • @morgantemponeras
      @morgantemponeras 9 лет назад +15

      . I have curls too. Don't brush it when it's dry, just comb it after you wash it. It's not damaged :)

    • @taliyahholland9067
      @taliyahholland9067 7 лет назад +5

      Shadra I have curly hair also. I've learned not to brush my hair when it's dry because it breaks off my ends and it just looks awful. so after you wash your hair use a wide tooth comb and put coconut oil in it and leave it in for 30 minutes then wash it out. Then your hair will look healthy and shiny, not only that it will grow.

I dyed it back to my natural color so I wouldn't have to keep bleaching my roots, and do oil masks weekly and use organic shampoo and conditioner. It all ready feels better. Siti Madina Please don't dye your hair. Depending on your age, there is opportunity before you reach 70 years old to reverse your condition with healthy food. Drink allot of green drinks including wheat grass shots. Allot of fruits and vegetables and find recipes that use aloe vera and also adding instant greens and reds to smoothies, etc. Grey hair can be reversed with work and your loving care to thyself.... All the best.

    I have so many split ends in my hair and it looks really bad. But the thing is, I've never dyed or bleached my hair, and I rarely ever use heat on my hair. I don't know how my hair got like this, I've always taken care of it but now I have tons of split ends and I can't get rid of them. The split ends aren't at the bottom they're all at the top and middle of my hair so if I tried to cut it, it wouldn't make a difference with the split ends. (I actually recently tried to cut it) so please does anyone have any recommendations on what I should do. I hate the state that my hair is in right now

    taking good care of your hair before dying can do wonders for the result! i used to have box dyed black hair and i wanted my natural blonde back. i used one mask every week and washed it once a week and never used heat. after a few months of that i finally bleached it (my professional hair dresser cousin did, at least), i went throw TWO rounds of bleaching with 40 VOLUME developer, and since i took such amazing care of my hair i had absolutely no breakage! take care of your hair and it will thank you for it later!

      My hair used to be the exact same. Just cut all split ends and anything that goes frizzy. Don't wash your hair everyday and use oils like Moroccan oil. If you use oils then leave them in for a few hours and then wash it out. Those things worked for me, I hope they do for you as well

Everything else i have heard before. Thank you so much... Maybe I can go two years with no more heat :) Few Questions... You got all your dead and split ends cut off though right? You are my hair inspiration! I started atching you almost 3 years ago. Back then my hair was bealched and cut into a short bob to around my chin and I straghtened it every day. I then saw how long and beautiful your hair was, and decided to get long healthy hair. I haven't coloured my hair or used heat (only like once a month or so) but I've trimmed it due to split ends. Other than that nothing but a lot of heatles curls and waves :-D
    My hair is now just below my boobs almost at my waist and it's healthy. I still want it a little longer though :-)

    I've been dying my hair most of my life. Started getting gray at 22(my mom was the same way so must be hereditary) but last year I bleached my hair to go little mermaid red and between that and flat ironing I pretty much screwed my hair. It was almost waist length too, I had to cut over 12 inches off. I spent all of my life not knowing how to deal with my hair because it's thick and curly so I would flat iron so often, without heat protectants as well. I've pledged to not use heat for at least 6 months but I will never stop dying it, I'm only 31 and gray hair isn't a good look haha. So I am going no-poo, deep conditioning once a week, and doing coconut oil treatments as well....Hoping all of this helps me get my healthy hair back ughhh

    Is it possible that my hair is naturally brittle? I dont blow dry my hair and I only use heat on special occasions, if my ends are really split I will cut it and I dont dye my hair any more but somehow its still split! :( Its a lot better than it used to be because I have been doing the above for about 3 years now but its still split :(

      Is your hair very fine?! Fine hair is very fragile, that's probably why your hair is probably splitting. I'll make a video about how to deal with hair breakage soon and brittle hair! :)

      My ends get pretty dry & brittle if I don't deep condition weekly or Everytime I wash my hair. I also avoid sulfates in my shampoo or shampoo totally & always condition my ends. Try to also use a good leave in conditioner on your ends like it's a 10 leave in

      Chloe French Avoid shampoos and conditioners with sulfates and silicones. Try to get ones with natural extracts. Do not wash too much. Wash like once or twice a week.

    Recently I got my hair cut into layers and the stylist thinned it without asking me leaving me having a 'rat tail' (as my family called it) whenever i put it up in a ponytail. I have flat ironed my hair once a week for about 1.5 years which has caused it to become extremely dry with a lot of split ends. I ALWAYS put my hair in a ponytail and that makes my hair look poofy if it isn't straightened. I'm not comfortable in other hair styles (I have medium layered hair) which is bugging me as I love to style my hair but only when i'm home alone. Any Tips?

      Sorry i'm not the youtuber but id say as a person looking at your story from the outside, cut it, cut it to a length that u can still place it in ponytails but not have a rat tail, braid it and wear it in updl styles that look cute, leave it along, put tiny amounts of oil in ur hands mornings usually and rub ur scalp (thats why tiny amounts so no grease feeling), ur hair will grow out and fill that gap between ur layered hair eventually but sometimes a little cutting or leaving it alone is best :) this is from a person who relaxed her hair bleached it to mushy stringyness, had to chop 1inch off to chin length and dealt with the cards i handed myself, my hair has 2 inches of growth and still growing

    You did the same thing I did. My hair was exactly like yours but a few inches shorter. I got tired of it and cutt it off till my neck. It was still naturally black but then I wanted it burgundy so I let my mom do it. I dyed it every 2 weeks because I wasn't getting the color I wanted. I did this 4 times. However, surprisingly, it's still healthy. I now have it black again after leaving it alone for at least a month. But the tricky thing is making it grow faster. My hair used to grow really quickly but not very much anymore.

    I only shampoo my hair once a week. As far as conditioning goes, when you take your shower wash your hair and rinse it out. Then work the conditioner through from roots to tips, and pin it up on your head while you shower. Once you're done, rinse your hair. That way you'll have left it in your hair the required time.

From that moment on, I used coconut oil and no heat AT ALL, no hair dying, NADA! my hair started growing healthy and shiny and I was finally getting my hair back but the problem is that my hair doesn't grow longer than shoulder length, I tried everything I could to make it grow and it still doesn't go over my shoulders. • @caseyb1913
    @caseyb1913 9 лет назад

    Hey, don't feel so bad. I dyed my hair, and it didn't work the way I wanted. So then I color zapped it, and then I dyed it vibrant purple. Then I dyed it again, and then I dyed it again. So a total of 4 times. All within 1 week. But I currently use a clarifying shampoo, conditioner, then a damage erasing balm, then a biotin&keratin oil, then a color vibrancy oil, and then I always put heat protectant in before I blow dry and before I straighten my hair. I'm going to chop an inch off in the next few days, then invest in a Nexxus brand name, split end correcting hair balm type stuff. All I have left is hope!

    ugh girl your hair is absolut goals, my hair is a huge mess. I have been told throught this year a billion times that my hair is ugly, everybody asks me " oh what happened to your hair, you had beautiful hair", a couple years ago my hair was light brown it was wavy/curly, but it was cute. for a year now ive had horrible puffy hair, no slipt ends though, it gets really really oily, i have uncontrolable frizz. It is just horrible, i do take care of my hair and i have been trying to grow it out but first i want to get it back to being healthy because i dont want long but ugly hair. Nothing has worked for me, i have gone to the salon, tried a million products but my hair just keeps getting worse and it dosent even grow, i NEVER use heat and never had dyed it so i just dont get why my hair is so disguting oh and also did i mention that it turned really really dark, almost black! i mean i love black hair but i cant pull it off so basically i need to : Get healthy hair, Lighter color, LONGER and get rid of the frizz! please please help me, i am desperate!

      Literally my life I had super straight black hair before and when I was about 11 It started getting damaged for no reason but I bought a curling iron cuz curled hair looked good on me I forgot to buy a heat protector and I would put oil instead and a VERY hot temperature it sounded like something was frying ugh I was doing that like 3 times a week so it looks good .My natural hair turned in a very disgusting shade of brown it would become extremely tangled if brush it less than 3 times a day when I brush it I find half of my hair on the brush it was full of split ends really frizzy and I struggled with this for 2 long years everyone was like ugh what happened to your silky hair and the worst thing about it my hair was messily cut (so I was not able to do hairstyles)and I didn't knew how to style it.I used those repairing thing conditioners hair masks and I didn't notice any improvement.One beautiful day ,I finally used oils (coconut oil-cactus oil-sesame oil-olive oil-honey ,all mixed together)and it turned out amazing approximatively straight .I used coconut oil before but around 1 time in 4 months so yeah it was still messy and DRY.After I got really proud of the results I started oiling my hair like 3 times a week which was too much it turned frizzy AND greasy af .So don't over nourish your hair.I started to use it moderatly ,not washing it every day,learned how to brush it, abandoned my curling iron into a drawer,stopped blowdring .I just started doing this and I can see that it gets healthier ,it got wavy but healthy ,it dosen't grease too fast,it's still short but I can style it easily :) so it's kind of a progress.Sorry for the lenghth of this paragraph I just wanted to share my hair story with u

    I heat style my hair 5 times a week bc of high school. I hate my natural hair. Its just not my style, i like it straight. Besides heating it, i take really good care of it with masks, natural products, heat protectant, oils, etc., so its not terribly damaged, it looks healthy, but it does feel a bit dry. Once a month i go through my hair and cut out split ends and i get it trimmed about 3-6 months, but i just spent an hour cutting split ends from my hair and only half my hair is done and im getting a trim tomorrow 😫 its so much work but its the only way to keep it healthy with all the styling i do

    I have CRAZY long hair, and it's kinda thin and also (a little) dry and damaged, and this video gives me hope for my hair! I was thinking of getting a full-on haircut, but I guess oiling might help.
    But isn't it a no-no to oil your hair in summers, to avoid getting oily skin?
    I've seen your no-heat videos, and they were a BIG help btw!
    I just have one question, any specific vitamins that work on restoring hair? I don't use any chemical products (other than shampoo/conditioner) and I've used a flat iron only once in my life, and that was YEARS ago...so my damaged hair is just because of lack of nutrition.
    Thanks for the vid!
