My favorite part of a PDQ MR Mortise Lock is how the deadbolt is designed. The design allows for for the lock to withstand much more static pressure when a door is mounted in the unseated position, where the latchbolt and the deadbolt are what keeps the door secure. We all have our idiosyncrasies!
