I went through 3 years of post, all the way back to the beginning of these comments, and found the following explanations (in English) of translation of the title: the title of the song is actually a bad word in moroccan/algerian darija Ya 7weneh means " what a waste" ya 7wenet elkalam " what a waste of talking" I did more digging just for you and turned out it was actually a Jordanian word :) I am not sure what it means but could be something like lose. So ya 7weneh alayam = oh the lost days he's morning all the days lost with the person who broke his heart. 7weneh alayam means roughly, oh those wasted or worthless days, 7weneh means something wasted with no benefit, like doing something in vain ya bay ... means Father Ya = Ohh , 7weneh = it is a word used in Shami dialecte (Syrian,Lebanese,Jordanian & Palestinian accents) . It simply describes a state of REGRET & SADNESS about something gone or someone passed away it's Arabic slang means ooh daddy. palming on his situation of something, like when in English people said ooh lord but not asked daddy for help. Hope u get it "7weneh" in Moroccan Dialect means a really REALLY nasty word xD But still very creative though!

it is cultural indeed, it's a traditional Arab clothing, now used mostly in Saudi Arabia and Kuwait and other Gulf countries. I don't really see the relevance between the song and the theme.. but it's good anyway! :D
