- I take the NSX down to Atlanta Motorsports Park and see a little of what there is to do around Dawsonville, Georgia.
A pleasantly short drive south of Knoxville, Atlanta Motorsports Park is like having your favorite mountain road all to yourself with no worries about tickets or lane limitations. We cruise down, check out a couple of noteworthy stops in Dawsonville, Georgia, and crash at a well appointed B&B before joining Performance Driving Experience for a day (my first) at AMP. Good times ensue.

Thanks, and yeah, it's a really nice track and facility. I'd have a little work to do to get to your pace around there, but for a first day I at least felt like I got to the point of understanding where I'm slow, lol.
For the first time there, that time rocks! It takes a while to get "comfortable", but I suppose that Is true with all tracks :).
Atlanta is great place for track drivers. We have AMP & Road Atlanta just little over an hour driving distance. I love those tracks!!!
Eloquent as always & these were no parade laps! I Wouldn't mind hearing about some of the upgrades you've done to prepare the NSX for more time on the track. Since I'm more OEM, I'd like to learn about brake & suspension upgrades? I'm more into handling than HP. I also enjoyed the drone footage of the track. It made the elevation changes really jump out! Looked like a blast! Fully enjoyed watching!
I do need to do a proper "introduction" video for the car that would include those modifications as well as the rest of the laundry list. Glad you enjoyed the video. Truth be told, the NSX doesn't need much in the way of changes to put up with light/moderate track use.

Yeah, your shorter gearing would make 3rd gear really sweet most places on the track I think. It's a fun track, I needed to use 2nd more than I did, but honestly was probably subconsciously trying to be easy on the gearbox....I'll get over it, lol.
Came back to watch again since NSXPO 2023 is going to be held at AMP. Funny, I now live less than a mile from Road Atlanta (moved from Omaha) and will have to drive past RA to get to AMP 45 min away on the same highway. Hope to see you at NSXPO.

AMP is awesome, and should really suit the CTR. Be sure and stop by the Discovery Parts store if they're open. Long time supporters of track enthusiasts in the region (no affiliate or sponsorship, I just like what they do).
