Funny to see them grasping at straws for a storyline without LVP. Rinna picks on Kim Richards to gain traction. If not for Kim and LVP, they'd have nothing to talk about in France. As a psychology educator and mental health professional, it’s important to note that there is disagreement in the field of mental health about whether people are born with anorexia. It is more likely that people are born with a genetic predisposition to mental health disorders but their environment can determine if they end up having it. It can make people fell powerless if they feel they were born with it, like there is nothing that they can do about it. Just my two cents as a professional. 💛🌅
There is no inheritance patter of any genes specitically associated with anorexia but there are genes which tend to increase susceptibility to neuroticism. Eating disorders to my understanding do not have a genetic basis in the same way that there are clear genes for schizophrenia or OCD for example.
I’ve had lots of doctors through out the last 15 years struggling with my eating disorder- but recent research certainly proves (and this is factual what I’m about to state if anyone wants to do more research on the facts in recent years) Although environment definitely plays a role, recent research has shown that between 40 and 60 percent of the vulnerability to develop an eating disorder is due to genetic factors.
The comments prove that there is continued debate. What is the solution? Either way a patient/client does have the power to work on the precipitating events, traumas from the past that made them more likely to have any mental health issues. CBT, EMDR and Trauma-Focused Therapy has been effective.

I think it's interesting that Teddi (apparently) was manipulated by LVP to do her dirty work, and now it's claimed that she is being manipulated by Kyle to do her dirty work. While I do think Kyle was always manipulative, I can't help but feel that Teddi jumps in to please people and tends to grab things and run with them? I don't think LVP did manipulate Teddi with all that dog BS, but I don't think she even would have had to because Teddi just did it all on her own to please LVP. I think once Teddi saw the fallout and realized she created a bigger mess/was given bad info/etc. she saw she could please all the other women and turned on LVP.

Thing is, Erika LOVED Rinna dressed as EJ for Halloween.
She wasn't in the least bit offended nor upset.
If she had been she would have told Rinna immediately she saw the outfit.
She said she was happy that it helped Rinna and Kim find a resolution to their problems.
She didn't appear to be concerned that Rinna might have been misbehaving when dressed as EJ.
What I saw was Teddy stirring the pot and getting the women to say they were offended by Rinna dressing as EJ and being a bit rude to Kim.
It was NONE of Teddys business but Kyle saw the bandwagon and jumped on it. Saying she was offended because it was her sister.
Yet I've seen Kyle be far more cruel to Kim over the years. She's said some truly horrible things to her and always buy always uses her alcoholism as a stick to beat her with.

It's funny, they all said that LVP was the manipulator of the group and used people to do her dirty work, yet look at how fast Dorit is accusing Kyle of using Teddi for her own dirty work. I think without LVP for them all to point fingers at, they are going to turn on each other very fast next season and true(r) colours will be shown. It's just like Erika claiming she can finally trust the women in the group and get close to them with LVP gone, but last season Erika sure wasn't creating a trusting environment with how she treated Teddi. I do find Kyle to be an instigator. I know many of the fans didn’t like Teddi in her second season but I can totally see a pattern with Kyle where she clearly talks about things off camera with cast members then when it’s brought up the other person usually takes the blame. Not sure who she’s gonna blame as a master manipulator now that Lisa is gone?!

You know, after the LVP issue I feel like Kyle and Teddi have been making really good points and everyone keeps shutting them up or dismissing them just because of (what I said above) the LVP issue.
