Just catching up on the videos. I love that. It’s so dog friendly at some of those places. Our big old lab would love it. Just a few more months and our house is done.
We are there every February
While visiting friends on the west coast we ate at fisherman’s village. Absolutely beautiful
Great job, captain and your wife seems like she's having an awesome time and Meady two
I've never been there. Will need to see it sometime.
🎉 love it Greg from Boston ma

Very nice ya all a stop at the village brew house and harpoon Harry's is always a good time when ya entered the harbor from Boca Grande pass is devil fish key Cape Haze is my place for R&R I have a few videos on you tube under my name just as you see it Thank you for another excellent video wish I had known about it sooner.😎👍
We’re hoping to visit there soon. I believe our boat club has a group trip planned there.
Isn't NO tie up cleats unusual ? I thought that rather strange for a business that wants to attract boaters?? Great video. Fellow Cape Coral boater here.
Hi neighbor! What was unusual is the lack of pilings that extend above the dock. You can usually tie to them, but everything you can tie to was below the level of the dock. Very difficult for larger vessels at high tide.
Very informative and interesting videos. Did you feel Punta Gorda is similar to Cape Coral. Both seem to have a lot of houses with canals. Thinking of heading down south soon!
We considered Punta Gorda but opted for Cape Coral as it had more to do in the downtown area. Each has their own benefits.
Thanks for coming up to Punta Gorda. Hello from Port Charlotte. Have a Great Day!!
A fun trip! I went to Burnt Store about 3 weeks ago, had never been before. Much larger than I expected, and the food at the marina was really good.
I totally agree!
We've been to TT's and Fisherman's Village. Great little spots. We've also been to Burnt Store Marina with the parents of our Daughter's friend. They actually live there. There are lots of Great Loopers that go to Burnt Store Marina. I love the videos! You guys are living the dream!
Thank you!
We have had a place in punta gorda/ port Charlotte for 16 years. Love that area ! Great video as always !
Thanks 👍
Minus the 5930 though.
You should add food reviews, what you had, was it good, worth the price....
Will keep that in mind on our next outing!
@@AdventuresofHappyOurs you go to so many cool places, just a thought
Great video guys hope u had a good time
You make great videos Tom. Living the dream, good for you. I’m currently help my buddy move his catamaran to Stuart Fl. To stage for the trip to the Bahamas. 😊🎉
Thanks Rob. I’ve been following your trip on fb. Safe travels!
hello super video 👍
It's funny, not sure your situation with kids but when our kids got older the dog became the focus and spoiled.
Kids are all either in college or graduated. Our time now!
Your first mate Mattie is slacking lol🤣
Sleeping on the job!
@@AdventuresofHappyOurs love it. 👍
When you eventually re-power Happy Ours, maybe you will consider diesels, since you mainly cruise at low speeds?
I've got a single Volvo D6 @ 435 hp on a 37 footer and at idle that gives me 3.5 knots/4 mph and 12.5 mpg (with reservation for miscalculation going from liters per nautical mile to mpg.) Anyway, it doesn't use much go-juice at slow speeds.
Anyway, Matey is the cutest!
The cost on a diesel swap may be over my comfort zone. Hopefully these last a long time!

Fingers crossed here!
That piddling around 1 to 3 foot water stinks . maybe the sand cleans some barnacles off your bottom and prop😅
A little sand blasting is good every so often.
@@AdventuresofHappyOurs Yep, but I would have been shivering in me timbers, L O L at myself
Have you ever thought about taking the boat down to Key West?
Soon enough!
@@AdventuresofHappyOurs I hope you take us along when you do!
I still prefer Hallandale Beach Florida more it’s a beautiful city with a growing communities and businesses and a good nightlife.❤🇺🇸
I know that’s a nice area as well but it’s greatly different than the Gulf Coast. I grew up on the Atlantic side but decades later I prefer the Gulf Coast. Yes, it’s a little bit slower and perhaps a few more older people but that perception is changing. We originally wanted to be in Delray Beach, but frankly got priced out of that area and built a beautiful house over in Cape Coral.
