When I was little and until now, I always ask my parents to throw me a birthday party or at least buy me a cake, but they always forget or pretend that they have work to do... even though they remember my brothers, I feel like I am added to them and this is what makes me extremely sad So I decided every year on my birthday I would go to my grandmother's house or one of my friends' house just so they wouldn't remember me. A very long story, perhaps trivial to you, but for me it breaks my heart.
