you come to me after a long day, tired and clearly not feeling your best, your period making everything a little harder for you.
you ask for cuddles, and of course, i pull you into my arms without hesitation.
you rest your head against me, and we just sit there for a while, quiet and close.
i hold you, letting the moment be simple, giving you space to just feel cared for.
if i can make you even a little more comfortable, that’s all i need. sometimes, it is just about being here for you, and that is exactly where i want to be.

Day 2 of my period and the stomach pains are unbearable and it keeps me up at night/when i want to take naps 😭 I visit the bathroom quite a lot for change ups too.
For any ladies here going through the same, dress comfortably, make sure to change your pads frequently/use intimate wipes to freshen up. Use your hot water bottles, lay on your bed and have some pillows supporting your stomach to help ease your pain. Take a warm shower, take a breather. It’s okay 🤍 Be sure to keep yourself well hydrated and well fed. I find that listening to music helps me to not focus on those cramps.
