If you play universe mode you'll know that the entire mode had drastically improved

It looks pretty much the same to me. Promos is just a small addition as far as universe gameplay goes, besides we still dont know how repetitive it gets. Its still the same thing when it comes to rivalries and how you play the game. It wasnt a big overhaul i was hoping for so im disappointed.
Chris, I think the Commentary Show option is so the announcers will act like they are on that show. For example, if you created the new RAW arena, you could have the announcers start the show by saying "Welcome to Monday Night Raw", and their commentary would reflect the show that you chose.
Pretty awesome! because if I create an arena they won't know it's raw works perfect for the new brand split

I like how all the characters use pics of there game version of themselves instead of real life pics. That way created characters don't stand out. really cool!

I have a feeling that the create a show / commentary thing will be something akin to how Cole will mention the show you're watching once in a while during actual match play.

I'm really loving that you get 3 saves, I'm usually torn between fantasy booking for the future, or doing a universe from back in the day for nostalgic reasons. Create a Show improvements are definitely cool. I'm looking forward to Universe mode this year!
You are right exactly but what it seems that you are missing is that the universe mode has been the game features gathered together so by it improving it improves universe which you said

When I did the brand split on WWE2K16 literally no women ever showed up on the Smackdown roster. They never had matches and they was never featured on any PPV's I never understood why so I hope it doesn't happen again. I even downloaded the RAW women's championship and the Smackdown women's championship and vacanted the divas championship. For the Raw brand the women's title was always on the line for a PPV but never the Smackdown women's championship. I hope this doesn't happen on WWE2K17.
Yeah, brand splitting has always been possible in Universe, but always ends up broken. I hope they fixed that.
I had no issue with that because I took the women off both rosters (not sexist i just dislike playing as them), what annoyed me was when i made matches, i couldnt choose directly from the roster like in rivalries, i had to make notes of both rosters just to make sure i didnt book raw wrestlers on smackdown
Interesting because just about every match on my SmackDown was a women's match. Only two would be men and it was because of rivalry. lol

They need to fix the crowd. Have them pop when the music hits instead of just being so mild. The booing Roman and Cena thing is simple, just put them as heels, but like the sounds can be way better. Even though they've added much more.

This year's universe mode is still the same about matches and everything too. I saw almost all this matches in everybody's video Roman vs Rollins was the most one
What disappointed me was CWC coming in so late so we have to wait for SVR2k18
It would be smart to go back to SVR because they already went back to SVR and Smackdown vs Raw 2k18 sounds really good
I wonder if the rivalry generation has been improved, last year if you deleted a rivalry sometimes the game wouldn't generate another rivalry in that slot for months!

That mode spawned a lot of hilarious created stories by the users between SvR 10 - 2K14. I hope they bring back that next year.
WRONG!! I like my story the way I have it set up. the keyword is creations. let's say I wanna have one person talking another language text based. are they gonna have that as an option HELL NO they're not
that's only if you decide to upload it online...and it's okay if it's not in PS4 Xbox one versions. they're getting all this new stuff...what is PS3 Xbox 360 gonna get? that's what I want to know.

I notice while creating a show or editing a show, it says download able content. so does that mean we can use any download videos or music or just the highlight reel downloads cause if it's just the highlights reel that's kinda lame if you want to use actual show intros and music like for the new raw and smackdown.
Downloadable Content is DLC so 2K might add in the actual shows we see today or it's for the community creations.
