Before I started throwing parts at it I came across this video, I went out pulled the vacuum line and sure enough it was pissing out fuel! This video saved a lot of time and money diagnosing and repairing! Thank you sir for the priceless content!
I've also had a non-OEM distributor cap throw misfire codes on a few cylinders... and burned a few cats too. (I had just purchased the distributor cap, so expected it to be new while I was chasing parts). This was on a 5.7 though.
I have my 2022 Chevy suburban 5.3 Have missfired cylinder 3 We change 16 lifter camshaft spark plug and wires , injector still the same problem took it to the dealer on aptil 15 untill today they didn’t know what the problem they told me it’s a mystery any idea guys what I should do
Thank you! This misfire was driving me crazy!! Popped the vac hose off and sure enough was pissing fuel

Probably saved 2-3+ misdiagnosis if taken to the dealership to get “taken” lol. Good catch and good customer service.

That diaphragm is toast...nice diag👍
I've always said "nothing good comes from a broken diaphragm"
@@SandCarServices sure doesn't😉
What is the diaphragm? Nothing comes up with google or RUclips.
How do you fix this?
@@dakotagoforth9335 u need a new fuel regular...if u smell any fuel around that regulator or its spitting fuel then that diaphragm is bad😏

So if the problem is coming back when you plug it back in. Then I don’t I understand what you suggest we do ? Please clear
Only thing it can be is fuel pump
But definitely replace fuel pressure regulator
At the end of the video he says hes going to replace the fuel pressure regulator
@@davefolsom3804 next thing I would like to do is to check for a malfunctioning injector
