    • @r.m.4345
      @r.m.4345 Год назад +17

      You are very smart. Hiring one person, and you could find yourself in a world of trouble. Having 3 different advisers who do not know each other is the vest way to go. And for insurance policy, you hire a lawyer who looks over everything. This way, everyone is controlling each other. To cheat you, they must all be in on the scam (which is unlikely because they do not know each other). But to hire one person is a big red flag

    I was very young at the time, 5 or so, so I didn’t quite understand what was going on at the time.

That's when MANY people get married, after graduating College and working for like three years (They start working at around age 22) Just Jason's $50,000 retainer fee is 600,000 a year and lets say Beth died at 91, 30 years after hiring Jason as her Lottery winner and he did not go to prison for theft. She would have given him 18 million JUST as a retainer fee. Not too bad out of a 878 Million lump sum after taxes. 😏 Jason screwed himself royally by stealing the 107 million. He could have gotten much more legally if he waited 30 years and had like 500 Clients over that 30 year period. With a 50,000 a month/$600,000 a year and 18 million for 30 years, he would have had 9 BILLION in the clear. Even if we go super realistic and he only has 10 Clients for 30 years, he would have still had 180 Million in the clear after 30 years. He fucked up badly.

    I don't think she was doing everything right... The most important thing is to never have one point of failure. When it comes down to it she put all her trust into one guy she didn't know. If I had that sort of money I'd cut it up and go to different well established on the ground stockbrokers, with everything in my name.

      The advertised amount of MM/PB & co are based upon 30yrs of yearly payments (annuity.) The lump sum is payment always (depending on inflation) swings between 50 - 60% of that.
      In this case she won, $1.537,000,000 which translated to a lump sum payout of $877,800,000. 37% federal tax was of that amount was removed which left her with $553,051,045. Finally local state tax (6.5%) was also taken leaving her with a final walk away sum of $495,994,045.
      While she still has plenty of money left to live a luxury life, they scammed her of a huge percentage of her winnings.

      Even making sure Descendants can still live off the money can still get screwed up if any of the descendants are hard core Gambling Addicts. A guy said his Family was wealthy for CENTURIES, but ONE Family Member in the current lifetime took the money and gambled it away at a Casino and now the Family who was wealthy for CENTURIES, is broke because one hardcore Gambling Addict wasted it at a Casino. 😩

    Hey amg! I stumbled across your channel a little while back and have been loving your content. Your productions are incredibly detailed and you definitely deserve more views. Have you thought about branding yourself? I am not sure if your name has any significance to you, but perhaps a more professional sounding name would better reflect your quality of work. When scrolling through recommended videos people you only have a very small window to draw in new viewers. Perhaps refining your image with a branded name, and profile picture, would aid in getting new views. Anyways, I don’t mean to be rude at all - I merely want you to thrive so I can keep binging your videos!
