Riot needs a new rule. If you try to FF and the team wins you should get half the LP as punishment for being a quitter.

@@Demoneye097 Remember we're talking about League's playerbase. Some players will choose to actively try to lose over winning a game they're not carrying. The surrender option exists for a reason and discouraging it's use (especially when the consequence of misusing it is literally just a small pop-up window) is a bad idea. League sells on the power fantasy it provides, punishing players for not having fun is bound to foster toxicity. A better option would be to provide better comeback mechanics or better still, to add gold/exp independent usefulness to more champions so that playing to win from behind is more fun than trolling or going next.

This sound like a rune that give you around the value of 2 kills if you dont snowball, but if you indeed go into first strike and sinergy on full economy this can give a big lead, specially with champs like pyke, tf, gp who can get sometimes get a big income lead, even baus on sion

So going "Rylais > RoA > Liandry > Dcap > Jaksho" ends up getting you exactly 900 gold back from cash back, which entirely pays for your tier 2 boots. So basically if this rune goes full build you have a way better version of magical footwear, even if you take into account the gold value of the extra movespeed magical footwear provides. In fact even at just 3 items you already exceed magical footwear.
And obviously you could save even more gold by buying more expensive items, like say trading RoA for something like cryptbloom, riftmaker, dead mans or void staff.

If you get 312 gold back from your first 2 items you could have a higher value then that as resists with conditioning from resolve
Bro the obviousy synergie is with first strike support or assassin + cashback , if you are hardcore you go domination + cashback the first 5 kills give you 450 extra gold.

singed really is the kind of champ where an oppsie happens and he goes 56% wr and gets nuked back down to under 50% in a patch, if lux and ahri are the favorite children then i think i know who the hated one is.

They dont stack though so if you cash out at 156 or 312g you only get 150-180g for the next one, not 468g...
The Rune gives you a % amount of Gold back based on how much you spent on each Legendary item, he explained it at the beginning of the video. The RoA and Rylai’s each gave him 156g back so he essentially had 312 extra Gold income upon buying Rylai’s. It helps him reach powerspikes quicker due to this.
I.E. the more expensive an item is, the more Gold you get back in your inventory once you finish it.
@@valor.dictorian8311 But if he spends his roa bonus 150 on the rylais, he only gets 150 bonus for the 3rd item, not 300, etc... He phrased it very strangely in the video which though unintentional implied that you could use the first 'discount' (no idea why he phrases it this way) and also get a larger discount for subsequent items. The explanation was just confusing.

Cash back rune in 90% of games weaker than futures market for the simple reason that on average games end at about 3 items and futures market was stronger at these early stages of the game because you could get those early power spikes before your opponents.
think of it this way: instead of getting to powerspike early whenever you feel like spending 50 gold, you're now getting to all spikes subsequent to first legendary ~180 gold quicker.
not as strong pre 1st item, but gives much more reliable power as you head into the mid game (1-3 items), which is where the game is decided by objectives and bounties.
it means more money for utility options like potions, wards, and elixers as well. going 50g into debt for a pink ward is trolling. cash back gives you the option to use that bonus snowballing reward more versatily.
@@mickeynott1456 but you don't actually go into debt using futures market. Since every 6 minutes you get +50 debt limit, you can go further in debt to cover the initial 50 gold cost.

How is this rune better than magical footwork. You as well save 300g, +10 extra move speed, and also you will get it earlier than your 2nd finished item. I see almost zero value in this rune over magical footwork in general. Almost all games are decided by the 15-20 min mark, so receiving the extra gold for late game as you finish 3rd and 4th item wont even matter. Late game you have inventory filled anyways with small components and 1k in the bank, so the extra money doesnt do anything in these time windows. This is exactly why so many people ran futures market. Get to the 1 and 2 Item spikes asap (also a lot of junglers used it to get the 1k buy after first full clear, to be stronger on 2nd respawns and 1st dragon, to create a lead very early). This rune does the exact opposite. If you buy boots, dorans and refillable, you still need 3.450g for your first item, if its a cheap one. Somone who starts with components +1pot and magical footwear will have his 3.2k item faster than you have your 2.6k item. Just my 2 cents, I dont think I am very wrong on this, that this rune is gonna get buffed very soon or reverted to futures market again or put in the same rune section that futures market used to be in.

It might count but the Rune gives you a % Gold back based on how much the Legendary Item costs so if you’re not ahead and plan to stay ahead, Dark Seal/Mejai’s is not Gold Efficient to buy

Why not just go full money maker? first strike and cash back. cash back is going to come out to what? about 1k-1.2k give or take? first strike can be any amount really. mix em together and there is a good chance you are getting a full item free.

@@diamondshovel4683 in theory it should work. if you get collapsed on in a proxy you're getting some gold back keeping any possible gap for the enemy small and if someone chases it's just free gold for you.
my net has been having a stroke the past week so I haven't been able to test it but as a backup plan in case you get focused when proxying to get ahead.
mid to late game it should be decent money once teamfights start and along with cash back it could very well be a good accelerator.
