VIKING SKY cruise ship departs Greenwich, London on 7th May 2024. VIKING SKY was departing on a 14 day, one way cruise to Bergen, Norway. It is 228m in length and 29m wide.
Great vid 😀👍 still amazes me that cruise ships can get that far up the Thames.Dont think harwich has any cruise ships anymore not that I understood why they would want to dock at harwich.
Thanks. I remember (maybe 20 years ago?) I went on a short trip to Bremerhaven in Germany. I can't remember which company it was with. It sailed overnight from Harwich and you had a day in Bremerhaven before sailing back the following night. The sail over to Germany was fine but the North Sea was rough on the way back. It is a night that I won't forget!

It keeps impressing me seeing the tugs, the enormous ship and the beautiful background. Great.

Was pretty much one out and one in with Viking Neptune now moored up at Greenwich.
Yes - I think that Neptune is the 3rd Viking ship in a week. There must be a demand for London to Bergen cruises!
HibTed. Do you manage to get thse shots from one position or do you have more than one camera?
Hi. I just use the one camera and keep moving it as the ship passes by.
