The fact that Red lizard wants to fight other Red lizard more than wanting your guts to be out of your body throught every hole possible surprised me more
They are extremely territorial. They have 0,5 reputation based relationship with slugcat, and -1 with other red lizard, and attack them on sight. The only thing that scares them equally (but not more) is leviathans
I’ve had this happen a couple times: - in the farm arrays - throw a spore puff to summon the deer - first deer approaches - set down second spore puff so that it will lay down & eat - climb onto the antlers and wait - second deer approaches - first deer is less dominant and so keeps laying down - second deer climbs halfway on top of first - it does some weird jiggly/thrusty motion for a few seconds (looks EXACTLY like its humping the first deer’s rump) - second deer stands up, turns around and walks back the way it came (even when it could continue on in the direction it was going)
Saw a blue lizard do this to a white lizard and then a king vulture came down and took the white lizard away and the blue lizard just didn't fucking react at all
Would actually be quite realistic way of creatures spawning, as well as adding farming and negating lineage and slugpup spawn. No animations actually needed, just a shelter and two of the same species.
Wait, is it mating season already? No wonder bobs been acting so strange around other cyan lizards... but what would a baby of a pink and a red lizor look like? would it be like a... wait was the pink the female or the male? cause i dont know if thats how their supposed to mate...

Do not underestimate any hardmode enemies. A pink one got me in the G room in my Spearmaster run, without me expecting it to be threatening at all.
