Hi Joe, your videos are really extraordinary. May I suggest you do a video about Clash of Monarchs?. I have acquired the game recently and the rule book is not the best..
I think im starting to get the hang of it. 1805 went very very well for France. I got the cars "curaissers charge", "horse artillery", and "taken in the flank". They combined beautifully in my attack on kutuzov and Charles armies at Vienna, demoralization for both armies, AND the cavalry pursuit wiping both armies clean from existence! If that isn't a proper Austerlitz, i'd be hard-pressed to find one! Madrid was captured by Napoleon, but Wellington was able to cut off his supplies after recapturing a fort being used as a supply link. Would wellington still have to besiege it sine Napoleon reactivated it for the purpose of a supply link?
I copied the core rules of the game and made my own fantasy game for private use, 2-4 players. Runs surprisingly well, and is a lot of fun. 1 year turn takes about 1 hour.
At 1'10"05, when determining the combat odd, why 7 against 4 gives you a 1/1 odd? 7/4=1.75 so by the rule 14.2, you should round up to 2, meaning a 2/1 odd, no?
Mack should have lost only 3 steps instead of 4. He should have survived with 1 step left. Plus you should have had 2 activation points since you didn't move Marmont as originally planned.
Thanks to all for your support. I'm having a blast with this game! If any of you find that I screwed up some rule, please let me know.

Great video! As usual you are presenting everything in clear fashion.
Always a treat to watch a video from you! Your presentation is eminently clear and precise. Great work!
Very nice! Really like the custom work you do too. Adds great texture to game. Thx Joe.
Very well done. Have the game setup and am playing along - so get with it already ! :)
Thanks a lot for this video. Can't wait for the next !

great video! Thank you (:
Another great video thank you
Attrition should be checked BEFORE the first battle if a force is force marching.

Why didn't the Austrians try to Evade instead of being overrun? They would have had a 50% chance of success since Napoleon moved at least 2 MF!
Maybe they should have! I can't remember right now why I didn't have them try to evade. I filmed this video four years ago. Sorry. Cheers!
