Would love to know how many 0-0s there's been in the Premiership this season. Some truly eye bleeding stuff.

Only 11 or 12 I believe, so about one every two game weeks

@@saintsfan270 It's 11 but the total number of goals scored per match has been in in decline for about 3 or 4 seasons now and if you took away the goals Rangers and Celtic score it'd be even worse. Livingston and St Johnstone have failed to score in 23 of 40 league matches combined this season. Ross County and Aberdeen have both only scored in 9 out of their 18 league matches. Livingston have averaged 2.35 shots on target over the season. Basically 1 shot on target for each half of football. St. Johnstone have averaged 2.65 shots on target.

Dreadful advert for Scottish football. I've heard the League of Ireland come in for ridicule on some Scottish football podcasts but imo outside Celtic and Rangers the likes of Shamrock Rovers, Derry City, Shelbourne, Sligo Rovers, Dundalk, St Patrick's Athletic and Bohemians would hold their own against any of the rest.
Bohs knocked Aberdeen out of Europe back in 2000 and Sligo dumped Motherwell out of Europe 3-0 last year. And the atmosphere in League of Ireland games is better than a lot of Scottish games. And this is with zero funding and no tv money. If the LOI got the money the SPL does we'd have a much better league. Just look at this game. Nobody there. Flat as a pancake. Brutal standard. I understand why the host of PLZ football podcast continues to say the standard in Scotland at present is dire.

Livingston is a small club though, small stadium, not many actual fans, only when they score they chant, St Johnstone we’re making more noise

@@dublinsfaircity you are partially right, on the last lest say 5 years it’s been poor but I think it’s getting better, Celtic getting their first UCl win in a while and rangers doing well in the Europa league making it to the final a few years ago

There's no one there. Scotland should close half it's football clubs because there's not enough fans to support them.
