I've started watching the dry bar comics and they're way funnier without cursing.
I used to think like you when I judged people a lot. I used to think people who cursed a lot lacked vocabulary, creativity, and class. Then when I was 18 at my first year in college, my sister’s guy friend told me that I judge people too much. I thought he was wrong but something told me to look in the mirror whenever I judged people.
If you notice, the comedians who curse know big words AND can talk about human things that many people can’t feel comfortable to talk about and are able to write well and are able to connect with people and are knowledgeable about science, politics, morals, languages, countries, cultures. They’re not stupid and they’re often not lazy at writing. Many comedians are lazy writers or lazy speakers. Some curse and some don’t. The dry bar comedians are not always funnier than comedians who are not in dry bar. I need people to start suggesting that dry bar comedians are funnier period. Funnier many times or sometimes, sure. But not cursing doesn’t automatically make someone funnier or wittier. Ya know?
Dave Chappell, Kat Williams, Louis CK. They all curse and they have thousands of laughs per mileage. 😊❤
@@100samanthamarie I didn't say they were always funnier. The ones I've watched recently, in my opinion are funnier. I've started preferring them over the comedians that curse. I've never thought Dave Chappell was funny. Some comedians that curse are just cringey because it seems like they just do it because they think it will get a laugh. It doesn't work for everyone. And just because someone else laughs doesn't mean I have to find it funny too. Funny is individual and subjective. There are comedians that curse that I find funny and there are some that do not that I find funny, depends on the comedian. Again, my recent preference is clean comedy
