I love that your family cooks cuisines from different cultures for Christmas! Growing up my family ordered in side dishes from Indian, Thai, Japanese, Chinese, Mexican, etc. restaurants for Christmas and it was so nice to have different tastes not just the same thing every year. God bless ya'll!

♡♡I know where you went is always like that... But it's so neat how many states had a white Christmas this year!! We had snow in southern Indiana for 6days straight, on the ground! The temp got down to 8 minus, windchill was minus30. I am originally for PA and Ohio and so I apsolutely LOVE snowy freezing weather!! ♡♡ I was so happy for Christmas!! Beats NC lol where we moved from! It was 70s on Christmas day! :-(

I am originally from Winnipeg! I moved to the U.S in 2009, my husband is American. We did that exact same drive to Manitoba but from Ohio. You are brave for going in December!! 😎 I could feel that cold and ice through my phone screen lol!

Your Mennonite family reminds me of the John Glick family! They’re Mennonite also who live in Ohio. And they have a banquet ministry for the widows every year, along with singing in prisons! They travel all over the US to prisons to preach the gospel and sing!
