Karl Malone scored 32 points and hauled in 18 rebounds in the Jazz big win over San Antonio 124-102. John Stockton dished out a ridiculous 28 ASSISTS! The Jazz beat SA here in the 2nd game of a home and home between the two teams (SA won the first game at home).
Stockton had 15 assists in the 2nd half, 9 assists in the 4th quarter. He could have chased 30 but HE wanted to come out since the outcome was decided. That is how humble Stock is.
Karl Malone took a nasty shot to the eye in the 4th quarter from David Robinson. He was ok but he did have swelling around his eye after the game.
