Manu Ginobili led all scorers with 40 points, including 17 points in the 4th quarter. The Spurs overcame a 16 point first half deficit to defeat the Los Angeles Clippers in 2OT.
Robert Horry hit the game winning 3 point shot!
Ginobili was unstoppable in the 2nd half hitting threes and attacking the rim at will. He also dished out 9 assists. Tony Parker supported Manu with 27 points. Horry scored 15 points. Tim Duncan did not play in this game.
Manu Ginobili is one of my favorite players ever! Wanted to dig into my vault for only the 2nd 40 point game of his career.

This is a hugely underrated Manu game. His decision making, his knack for clutch play on both sides of the ball, and his athleticism are on full display. He was the real deal.
Went to this game as a kid. It was amazing!
I was at this game sitting courtside right behind Timmy, who was in street clothes that night. I had my 21 jersey on.
I was too scared to bother him lol. I got my ball signed by Manu, Rasho, Big Dog Robinson and Sean Marks. Awesome experience that i will always remember!

I'm Argentinian and followed Manu his entire career. I lived in San Antonio for 6 years, including the 2013 & 2014 Miami Heat finals years... Fun times. My favorite player of all time, in any sport. Even above Messi. Thank you for sharing these amazing highlights!!

Wow the memories! The Spurs beat the Clippers in double OT here, then traveled to Oakland and beat the Warriors in double OT the very next night. These two victories were crucial for them to right the ship and gain toughness after they had spiraled down after Duncan sprained his ankle in Detroit. Without these two back-to-back double OT victories I don't think they win the championship that season. Manu played his heart out in this game, and was rested for the Golden State game.
Thanks for the reminder that Oakland game went to 2OT as well.

If Robert Horry was the hero of the Clips game, it was Tony Parker who slashed to break the tie then turned out to be the final score.
Golden State was rejuvenated that latter season after trading for Baron Davis.
