I haven't heard this this Groove Armada Live At Brixton Concert for ages so I thought I'd check it out again tonight and I'm glad I did as this concert is blowing my mind,I forgot how
absolutely brilliant the people in Groove Armada really are,they really are excellent musicians and writers as well,and that's coming from a 70 year old.

V festival 2002, nearly 3000 people crammed into a marquee. The heat was intense, the atmosphere was it's own entity and the set was the best thing I've ever witnessed. Watching this has made the hairs on my arms stand on end, just like 15 years ago.
Looking forward to seeing what they bring to boomtown :)

The production on the studio version is just masterful, like Jilted-era Howlett but in this live version they somehow manage to maintain the electronic-technical precision of the studio version and also make it sound organic. Alchemy.

Is the crowd roar at 1:25 due to the epic bass drop or the change in visuals? Or something else? I am not a GA aficionado so I might be missing something.

Sally Day the studio version is fantastic but this live one is way better by far.
Absolutely! All of the tracks from this gig were the best versions of themselves! Just amazing!
I'd personally go with Bass, Drums and Hook. The attendees know the track immediately, but that's when it all comes flooding home. I was fortunate enough to be there and at other Brixton gigs and the atmosphere was always electric. The visuals were an essential element for me, but I was working on an AV rig in Brighton at the time so already had a keen interest, I'm not sure it was so important for many others. The visuals are exceptional!
