Happy Friday, all! Today I'm started a miniseries of videos that will appear on Fridays for the next little while. The series will focus on Distress Oxide Inks and blending color combinations!

This is a fabulous idea. I am really thankful that you are taking the time to help everyone like me who is "color combo" challenged. I spend so much time trying to figure out background color combos that I don't have time to craft. Again, thank you very much for this wonderful idea.

I'm super excited about this series! It will be a great way to see how different colors work together and what inks I might want to have. Thanks so much, Kristins, for the graphic at the end showing the colors used. It is a great way to remember the exact colors of each combo.
I find the more unexpected mixes of colours really helpful for example the one including seedless preserves.
Thanks for sharing these lovely color combinations!! The one with seedless preserves is really pretty and the one with scattered straw reminds me of starwberry lemonade 😅
Ooo! You're totally right! Now I want some strawberry lemonade... Mmmm.
Maybe others have already made the suggestion or I possibly missed it, but I would love to see some combos using Lost Shadow and more of the new Oxide Inks. I know you are starting on this which is great. Thanks for all of your hard work!!

I've only been doing Cards for about 3 months and I love the Destress Oxide Inks, so I've been buying them slowly but shirley 😉😊🥰❣ I've cut out Cardstock to do a three combo on them. You've got me really excited Kristina🥰 I'm more of a cool person than a warm person, so I started buy the cool shades first. I'm really happy that I found your Beautiful color palettes of these Inks😊🥰 Thank You for sharing your Beautiful talent with all of us Sweetheart. TY😊

Thought I’d share one of my favourite distress ink combos - evergreen bough, seedless preserves, and shaded lilac
Gem C I will try this combo. If I have all the colors. I thought I had them all but apparently I missed a release. Probably when I was trying to be good and not buying.

Hi, Kristina! Well, I began with the 3rd video in this series~~~and was TOTALLY ENTHRALLED! Your color blending is exquisite! :-)). I CERTAINLY need lots of practice with this technique~~so I was excited to go back n’ check out Video 1...and am moving on to Video 2! I’m mostly a visual learner so being able to “review” each video again will be so very helpful! TFS n’ HAPPY BLENDIN’! LOVE this series! :-)

I had already started making swatches of my favorites, so now I will have even more to choose from. This is just so perfect, I can't thank you enough!!!

Thank you so much for coming up with this idea! Because of my budget, I always get confused which distressed oxide should I buy first! I always think that I should buy 2/3 colors first, then gradually add more to my collection!

OMG wish I would not have bought the rainbow set of oxides that I bought (thought it was so hard to choose the right colors), before I saw this amazing video, as your color combos are so beautiful, and than I would have bought different colors 😪, as shipping costs are high here where I live,and my budget is small, cannot buy somemore :-(, wish I had your eye for color (and more of your fab artist features 😃😉😘), love your videos thx !! 😃

Thank you for this fantastic inspiration ! It gave me the idea to create similar mini cards with various combos I'm using, then I will maybe laminate them and put them on a ring. It will help me every time I'll create a card with a colored background. I'm just worried that laminate them will modified the colors.... I will have to test all this !!! Thanks again. I cannot wait to see your future suggestion of combos !
Thanks I love your combination 😍 and I love these oxide inks. They are much easier to blend and I don’t get the round spots that I usually get with the normal distress ink. 💐
