What is ASMR?
To me ASMR is an art form, just as a movie can put you in a different state of mind, so can ASMR. The difference being, movies achieve this state of mind as a byproduct, while ASMR strives to find those bits and amplify them. Over the years ASMR has greatly evolved from a simple tingle to a full body and mind experience. With an infinite amount of genres designed to help you, most popularly it can be used for relaxation, focus, motivation, stress and anxiety relief.
As the asmr community rapidly grows so does it's understanding. No longer is asmr a guilty pleasure but rather a scientifically studied and proven method of relaxation as a branch of meditation. As a follower of ASMR you know just how beneficial it can be first hand, and if you are new, I greatly encourage you to step into this new world with and open mind... just be sure you're ready for it to be blown.

Yeah sure, but he kept on doing it the whole vid through. and of course he could be completely fine but unsubconciously putting yourself down is just something that bothers me when people do it. you dont have to think youre perfect and the best and everything but everytime someone says something 'bad' about themselves i just want them to know how much they mean to people

god, it's always so sad to hear that some hates themselves and even to hear that they used to. It's weird that I was just talking about how I used to hate myself and now PJ says that he used to want to die. So happy that he doesn't feel that way anymore though, he's such a sweet and cute guy, it would be a crime for him to feel that way about himself

literally I try to watch other male ASMR videos and I can’t relax for some reason, but I come here and you’re so graceful about all of it and it’s so nice, like thank you for doing this. I watched this last night. I can honestly say that this is the first asmr video that I’ve fallen asleep to. I normally listen to them when I need to calm down or want to relax.. I woke up hours later with my laptop dead. What an amazingly soothing video. 💖

started listening to asmr, when my daughter told me about it. I went through hundreds of videos for a few weeks, then I started to listen to PJ. now for the last two weeks I only listen to PJ.
Headphones, a pillow, and PJ rambling or talking about useless facts is my ultimate relaxing moment, that put me to sleep.

It was enjoyable to listen to your thoughts. I can understand that feeling of living to please others while also ignoring yourself and putting yourself down harshly. And that’s a really hard thing to get through. But it’s good to see people who genuinely do get some happiness off of helping others. I also agree with your microphone critique. I sometimes wonder where they are investing. It isn’t bad to use whatever, but it’s weird when certain creators advertise that they are using that income partially for the channel-but don’t buy props or invest in sound and video quality. You made a fair point, but always nice to listen to your whispers PJ.
