Does tft has a mechanic where you can easily get 3 star highest cost unit without hardowrkingly looking for it? Because magic chess has that mechanic which is that's, Vale, and austus, and fucking ruining the game. And if tft doesn't have any kind of mechanics like these, I would definitely switch to tft.

no, not really. You'd have to play for-fun game modes or sacrifice a lot of hp with econ traits in order to maybe get a big cashout that helps you 3 star a legendary. But it's pretty hard to pull it off (it only happens in 3% of basic tft matches if i remember correctly).
FYI: at some point, bag sizes for epic and legendary champions were really huge, hence you had a really high chance of hitting a 3 star.
A few sets back, there was an item called philosopher stone that enabled some kind of exploit where u could spam-duplicate any champion when you rolled. It was quickly removed and apparently they've learned from their mistakes
