    also great just for safety when working under things like lifted buckets on tractors/machinery. had a hydraulic line blow out on me once and luckily i had those under each arm

    I used it for collapsed roof as in my roof isn't totally crashed on the deck but at bad angle and more snow is coming works good for support. just till i get money to get it fixed you know month, years a few years...

    I need one of these, but shorter because I only have a midrise lift. Do you think the post could be shortened above the adapter that screws into the base? Obviously you would need to drill a new hole for the pin and possibly shorten the acme screw.

      +Jeff C cutting the screw shorter would be tough… I would think they would make shorter versions 🤷‍♂️
