I'm so tired of being right, and yet, despite how many times I've said "i told you so", people still doubt and criticize without ever considering my reasons for saying what i do. I don't have the patience anymore either, when i know nothing has changed, nothing is ever moving forward. Pay Day 3 wasn’t the first game. He promoted New World in a review, because Amazon literally sponsored that video. When he was called out in the comments, he doubled down instead of apologizing. Look I didn’t have a problem with the video sponsored by them. Just don’t accept a sponsor from a game on the video where you’re reviewing it.

I love how nobody and even the Act man didn’t consider something. If he made the video and only a portion of it was about roasting AZ-why not just cut that part out? It would take a few minutes and that way the rest of the video didn’t go to waste.
I love how he plays it like it’s all or nothing when he could have just cut that part out and uploaded it. He could have put an editors note saying “I was about to have a segment about roasting AZ but I’m going to hold off as I’m in talks to have a chat with him-so I want to be in good faith and remove this segment for now”
And he would have gotten props for being transparent.

People defending this ActMan guy (never heard of him till 6 months ago) seem to have just as little knowledge of the rant and Az's reason for it than this guy. I was watching the stream when it happened. I was playing a game myself with almost no volume so I could hear the stream. I had almost the same reaction as he did right before the rant. It was made 8 or so hours into playing the game. After the pronoun garbage and talking to the "woman" who was the clone of a man bit. It was after the umpteenth time he ran into a girl boss he was sick of it. I think most gamers are sick of the current dayism that is happening. I rolled my eyes when FE engage introduced a Queendom I wanted to yeet my switch because it was so dumb.
Act man's actions sometimes makes me think that QuantumTV's victory over him broke him mentally. But i suspect that the rot has been there long before that.

Act Man jumped on Az when it was safe to do so and did the same thing with the Sweet Baby stuff. Once it was "safe" to do so and SBI bashing was trending he jumped on the bandwagon. Many creators did this and Fritangaplays pointed this out and called them all out on it.

If Act Man was willing to upload the video despite claiming here that he didn't understand everything because "I spent 40 hours making it," why should we believe he'd change anything about the video after they had talked? By saying that he was going to upload the video anyway without context, he demonstrated to Az that there was nothing to gain by offering context.
Personal anecdote:
I wrote an article for our city newspaper about an issue that turned out to be more contentious than I realized, and the people I'd interviewed were all on one side. One day before I was to send the draft to the editor, the people on the other side said they'd need a few more days to respond to my questions. Despite already giving them a couple days (which is more time than lots of newspapers grant), I told my editor to hold the story one extra week. It was inconvenient at the time, but in the end, I got a better story and ensured both sides would want to talk to me in the future.
Act Man can make any video he wants. He can publish it when he wants. He can believe that Az responded unreasonably. He can believe Az should have still been willing to talk after the video. But he knew uploading the video might burn a bridge, and he threw the lit match anyway. He doesn't get to act surprised by all the smoke.
