Prog 39 Tilime Mbewu za Makolo

This documentary focuses on conservation of local crop breeds in the Shire Valley. The SVTP is working with the Department of Agriculture Research, Ministry of Agriculture and communities to conserve local breeds as among other things, production of hybrid breeds is dependent on the local breeds. One of the groups working on this initiative is Msekele Gene Bank in T/A Kasisi in Chikwawa.
